Hello, I'm writing on behalf of my nephew Robert who idolize police officers. He is special needs young man who has overcome dozens of surgeries and brain aneurysms. Right now he is in a police explorer program, he completely loves the program. Besides the program he gathers a tremendous amount of joy from collecting business cards from police officers. His collection has grown to 2000 business cards along with trading cards and badges. He cherishes his collection as if they are rare jewels. I want to help his collection grow. TO whomever patrols SR#37 just north of Bloomington (heading north). THANK YOU for stopping to check when my car was on the side of the road with my hazzard lights on. I SO appreciate the stop. I had called AAA and they were on their way, but I was SO glad that an officer (two different ones) stopped to see if I needed assistance. My flat tire was immaginary (AAA guy was not amuzed but accomodating). The road is bumpy and my indicator light said I had a flat tire, so I did what I thought I should do. So much for BMW indicator lights - they are a bit too sensitive - but I want to THANK those of you who check on stranded motorists. It is so very much appreciated and comforting.

Bloomington police are paid to sit in their squad car all night, harassing anyone who may walk by. As a tax payer, this is troublesome to me. Is there nothing better these police officers have to do? Probably not. I hate to see my money go to waste on talentless individuals such as Bloomington police officers. I believe these police officers would not be able to solve even the most basic of crimes. This is why I would like to see my hard earned tax dollars deverted to worthwhile resources such as education, rather than officers who provide nothing to the community.

I would like to thank Officer Barnes , and also let her superior know that officer Barnes is a great police officer. I am from Chicago, and was visiting my daughter in Bloomington, unfortunately I was lost, and didn't know how to get back to her apartment. I met Officer Barnes as I sat in the parking lot of shopping center that has office max, dollar store etc. my daughter was at work, and I was stuck. Officer Barnes told me she could assist me in getting to my daughters apartment which was on Rolling Ridge street. I was so impressed with her helpfulness that I had to share it with her Police department. My daughter rearranged her work schedule to come and get me.

Quit employing unprofessional police officers. These people have no idea what it is to serve and protect like me and the rest of our military veterans. The so called police officers only car about one thing and that is to show everyone they think they're tough. I have a great idea, use our tax dollars on adults and not fuckheads.

Scooters being stolen all over the City. We need to set up. Bait scooters and Catch these Thieves. They ruin people's li es and Jobs due to when they steal them, they take away so much from the person. Most are not being found due to the theifs not being found and prosecuted. Please,Please look into this. Sincerely a former scooter theft victim. P.s. I commend the officers that found my scooter and am Greatly pleased how they were in the right time at the right place. More officers should be more like the ones I came into contact with! Erica
