I live on W Smith Avenue in Bloomington Indiana and this is a brief clip of the construction that continues to go on literally steps outside my apartment. I am shooting this video from just inside my door. I am most concerned with the extreme noise pollution that has to violate the noise ordinance, not to mention the safety hazard and risk management nightmare presented by the fact that less than 5 feet and some yellow caution tape separates my front step and a 15+ foot drop. We have not been contacted by anyone working on this project or any city officials, except that we were notified by our landlord that they afraid that our 'car was going to fall into the hole.' This trailer has been left on my property since June. I have contacted my rental company, Sarge, as well as Duke and Gigabitnow to see who it belongs to. I have not found out where it came from. This is a student property with a parking lot behind for over twenty cars. It is taking up space and we residents have to sometimes park on the street, risking a ticket. Please contact me on how I can get this removed.

This is an Envirosac of cement (concrete construction debris), likely left over from fiber optic installation one year ago. It is at the residence of 2809 E Daniel Street. It was a box of powdered cement, that naturally hardened into concrete, making it VERY heavy. I would like to know who to contact to remove this from the easement? Another neighbor asked the residents to please remove it, however they have not, and they likely do not think it is their place to do so since the fiber optic company fractured their driveway and did not take this box of cement with them when they repaired it. Can you please point me in the right direction. Photos included. Thank you!

Our street has no street sign (or stop sign). I live in Winslow Crossing and we don't have a sign at the intersection of Henderson & S Walnut St Pike (nor do we have a stop sign leaving our neighborhood) and it has resulted in a lot of confusion in the slightly more than year I have lived here since I purchased 2851 S Walnut Street Pike. Included are friends/family being unable to locate the address (we have no neighborhood sign and my HOA when I contacted them is in no hurry to get one), when I called for a non-emergency police issue he couldn't find the neighborhood, packages have nearly been sent back or just plain delivered to the wrong address because my address "doesn't exist" (because they can't find it). So I'm wondering what it would take to get a street name sign and hopefully also a stop sign, installed at the main intersection to help with the confusion. Please let me know if there's anything I can do about this because it's becoming quite frustrating! Thank you, Denise J. Humphries

City Arborist told me to contact HAND for tree code violations. There are at least 1/2 dozen dead trees at entrance to The Arbors Apartments on E. Moores Pike. Several large limbs have fallen recently, causing hazard to people, dogs and cars. Manager is aware of problem & has said he plans to remove them, but weeks have passed & no action has been taken. I walk my dog on the path & road where these trees are & it frightens me to walk by them, especially on a windy day.

The speed bumps here are massive and are destroying my suspension. The speed limit is 25MPH in my neighborhood but I can't go more than 10MPH without my car bottoming out on the speed bumps or hitting my head on my car ceiling. I'm all for speed bumps enforcing a reasonable speed limit but having two gigantic speed bumps every block in my entire neighborhood is kind of silly. I have to drive over dozens of these a week when going to work and have now had to replace my struts ($900) and my shocks/shock absorbers are next ($800). I have a Toyota Camry, which is a pretty common and rather robust car generally speaking so I doubt my story is a unique one. Is it possible to lower the speed bumps? Thank you.

The fiber optic installation in the neighborhood appears to be over, but they left an orange conduit sticking out of the ground at the NE corner of Wasjington/Cottage Grove intersection.

So this truck initially was blocking the walk over on the trail at second and Morton area by Kroger traffic was backed up, but he decided that he put his truck over the crossover anyway then before he pulled away through a cigarette out right in front of me and other people I was able to catch up with him on my bicycle. I hate complaining, but you know we pay these people money to do work for us and they come in to our city and they litter like that. It just doesn’t sit well.

Other report disappeared. Multiple times almost hit on bike by speeding cars e Morningside between park and smith. Includes but not only increasing number of summer house students. New streets need to include calming like hump (not horrible bumps everywhere). Safety needs now not years from now. Morning afternoon and early evening mostly. Crazy
