Fire the Police who did not arrest the men holding a man captive in the park. Clearly the man held against the tree had his civil rights violated but we all know this was really about hate and racism. Not a proud moment for Bloomington.

The issues the NPR officers at Lake Monroe I watched a horrifying hideous video of a black man pin to a tree by several white men, shouting racist slurs these men need to be arrested and should have been arrested at that moment when they were assaulting that man I will be writing to authorities over the NPR officers but I needed your department to see that this is a very very bad thing and those officers need to be removed from duty until further investigation, The men and women involved need to be arrested immediately for assault what were your officers thinking he was being assaulted and held against his will you guys have a huge problem this is not going to go away and you cannot sweep it under the rug everything has to change! If this is not your department please forward it to the department that it belongs and I thank you for your time

Why have we had an empty big box store for years? Kmart. One of the biggest blights and we're letting a land speculator hold it or what? There's so much focus on other areas of the city it's neglectful to keep a giant empty metal warehouse by College Mall instead of putting the area to badly needed good use. Please step it up and put some attention to getting the area occupied and revitalized. Why are there all these meetings about the hospital that isn't even empty yet when we've had this massive empty structure for so long. Help please. Thank you.

The Winslow Marathon gas station: Only half of the customers were masks inside and the cashier wore a mask at her chin, not covering her mouth or nose, the whole time I was there this afternoon. Will include photos. Thanks so much for your time.

What a moronic missed opportunity. The city is rebuilding???!!! The crosswalk that does not! Work for students or cars on 10th by the library. Why?! We studied this last semester and EVERY student and the professor agreed it does not function as it should. Is a signal being added at least for crossing?

Messages from the COB Violation Hotline: 7/25 11:35AM A man called reporting that there were 15+ people in Seminary Park not wearing masks. The caller also wanted to "warn" Mayor Hamilton that "patriots are warming up the park." 7/25 3:07PM A caller reports that the Marathon gas station on South Walnut (corner of 37 and Tapp Road) is not requiring customers to wear masks inside the store, and the employees were not wearing masks either. Caller said there was an employee behind the counter stocking cigarettes who just "shrugged" when asked why he did not have a mask on.

My wife and I are very concerned about local businesses attracting out of towners due to relatively lax covid regulations. We understand attendees are flocking to The Wilds for weddings, with 100+ attendees coming from all over the country, including covid hot spots. This is a serious safety concern for the town.
