I believe that house next door to me (209 E. Wylie Street) is being rented out as an AirB&B. Is this legal?
There are two fences that, I believe, are in violation of the city's ordiance for height. They are a nussiance and dangerous. Something must be done.
This has been on going now for over a week it is all day and all night the people that live there are running a generator to run power into the house and to the 2 rvs in the back by the alley. It’s super loud and I can’t take it much more. I’m honestly surprised the SCCAP office hasn’t made any complaints yet.
Got a call from next door neighbor who says backyard fence is out of compliance and that they are excavating in their back yard with the intention of installing some "huge metal things" underground. The huge metal things are currently in the driveway at the location awaiting installation.
Boat on trailer being stored on premises.
On Kingston Drive, across from the Mall entrance where the Bloomington Transit bus stop is, and also across from the Target parking lot (side of the building), near the pedestrian crossing from the Current parking garage to the Target parking lot, there are big stones that have fallen into the road, coming from the slanted side at the foot of the parking garage. It is right at the bend of the road, so, very hard for motorists to see. And what if one comes tumbling down while a car or cyclist is just passing there? There should be a fence to keep the boulders inside or a heavy net over them, in my opinion.
228 N. Sheffield has had a commercial trash container (big metal bin) in front driveway for what seems like years now. Surely this has to get removed at some point? It's industrial and the size of a driveway.
They are covering the entire yard with gravel. Is this not against the planning and zoning codes? Don’t they have to have grass or plants?
