The City of Bloomington removed a tree approximately three years ago at the corner of Lincoln and 7th St. We would like to know if the City can plant another tree in that mow strip along 7th Street where the City had removed the tree.

We are having a landscape crew dig stumps in this area, but before we can start - it needs to be flagged and checked for underground utilities. I actually don’t have an address for these stumps. Is there anyway you can have the underground utilities checked in the red circle on the photo of the map below? Please let me know.

Floodlight above garage casts blindingly bright light onto adjacent properties, buildings, alleys and street.

Last night, 9/3, There was a storm drain cover on the SW corner of 15th and Lincoln that was not seated properly. I stepped on it and fell through. Some students helped me up and tried to set the cover on. Someone needs to check on it.

This box (from AT&T) has been hanging over the easement of our property for over 6 months now. AT&T was notified in February, came out and said they'd get to it during a "down time". Nothing has happened on it yet. I don't know what I can do as a homeowner since it is in the easement, is there a number we could call that you might have or is there any assistance you could offer us? Thank you for your help! The house located at 2231 N. Martha Street is zoned residential single-family (RS), in the Matlock Heights historic district, but it is being used as a fraternity house (Aloha Kappa Lambda), with attendant problems (noise violations, traffic, trash, etc.). This would seem to be a violation of the city’s zoning ordinance.
