Mr. & Mrs. Jollisse have billing and customer service issues. They only receive bills couple of times a year instead of on a monthly basis. They were without service for 10 days before repairs were made. They have had repeated billing problems that have taken several calls to Insight to straighten out. Their billing difficulities are still unresolved. During a recent telephone conversation, they asked to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for 10 minutes before a supervisor was available.

Mr. Johnson adopted a dog and had it in his care for 2 weeks. He rtnd the dog to the shelter b/c he said, "it bit people when it was hit." Denise explained he could not adopt another animal, ever. Denise explained to OOTM that the dogs ribs were showing and that it was obviously not fed and mistreated. He was also very rude to her over the phone. She explained that they had to euthanize the dog, and he is now on a list of people that can no longer adopt pets.

Ms. Sexton's car was vandalized Thanksgiving day by a broken window & her purse was stolen. She called BPD & filed a rpt. w/ Ofc.Skirvin & he said he would stay in touch & she'd heard nothing. Since then she has noticed two more vandalism incidents exactly like hers. She found BPD to be rude when she called regarding the other incidents. She wants more than one patrol a night & wants Ofc. Skirvin to follow up with her.

Mr. Rogers is "disgusted" with BPD. He was arrested 4/14/99 & is unhappy with excessive force used & the way he's been treated by dept. since. He's made consistent requests for his police rpt. ever since his court date. Everyone he came into contact w/ at BPD has not been helpful. He wants to know what can be done. (I offered him option of filing a "internal compliant w/ COB PD" form. He accepted and is supposed to come by office to pick up forms.) *(# above is a pager)

Mr. Kadish lives across from 9th St. Park & there are 12 bright lights for parking lot which is very bothersome & disruptive for he & his family. He feels it's wasting energy & producing light pollution. He proposed the option of a timer to shut off lights at time park closes thru to next evening (which they do in NJ where he moved from). With park being closed at certain hour no reason for lights to be on.

Mrs. John's is extremely disturbed at the idea of the D.A.R.E. program NOT being continued in the shools. She feels this is an extremely important program and doesn't want to see it come to an end. "It's unimaginable!" (Talked to Elaine Helms who explained that Chief Kennedy is the person she needs to speak to but that he's gone until 10/18. Elaine said we could put her through to his voice mail.) I told Mrs. John's the information that Elaine told me and forwarded her to his voice mail.
