re: ditches at 3500 Morningside are eroding, below drain level. She has paid to have them taken care of, but it is not working. What can happen? Can city, does city, take care of these matters?
re: Bryan Pool swim classes. Swim classes were too large last year and she wants to be sure there are more instructors for children, her child must retake due to not enough instruction.
NOT A COMPLAINT, A COMMENDATION, RE: PEOPLES PARK. Was very pleased with the Peoples Park design, was a little worried about hedge and people stepping over it and damaging it. Hopes grass seed rather than sod is used. When the time comes would be interested in donating see, bulbs, small tree or something along those lines.
new playground at Bryan Park. Who designed sand area? Why is there not a walkway? It is hard for strollers and older people to walk through the sand areas. The play equipment is nice but whoever designed the sand areaz "must be young and single".
Would like the restroom to be opened by the tennis courts in Winslow Park. He walks in the morning and would like to be able to use the restroom.
Citizen says she has been trying since beginning of December to get cable tv service. Says she has called TCI (including Scott Cooley and "Larry") and none of her phone calls are returned. Says all they will tell her is that they'll leave a doorhanger when they're ready. She's concerned about storm warnings etc, and thinks she should be able to get cable now, or at least a response from TCI.
Mr. Norris believes the city needs to understand the value of the feedmill on 2nd street.
Mr. Brunetti has problem with Neighborhood Dev. reg: inspections. Lives in NW IND., didn't know about compliance of insp. until this year. Problem: he feels that HAND is forcing him to either take day off, or hire someone to manage properties for him to meet inspections. He said he spoke to Susie J. to make exception (to meet on Sat.'s), her response was 1) wasn't in budget, 2)noone wld probably meet then. He askes, "who is off M-F between hrs of 8a-5p?". (Owns Varsity Villa #428 & 375).
Caller had rented TL Lodge. She was upset that there was no mop head or bucket available for clean-up. Also, the trash in the restroom had not been emptied.
