1006 E Heather Dr. Tree in the tree plot has a significant number of large bees swarming and living in the tree. It is next to our community mailboxes, which presents a problem. The ground, underneath the tree, is turning black and the leaves are also turning black. I do believe they are killing this very lovely tree which the city planted a few years ago.
Also, between Sherbrooke Place Condos (1000 E. Heather Drive) and Peppergrass condos, there is a deep hole, which a white pipe with a red flag has been placed so that someone doesn't step in the hole and injury themselves. There are many older residents who walk their dogs in this area.

My neighbor at address 2131 S Bent Tree Drive just reported two dead trees on City property that are leaning towards both of our houses. Within the past 10 mins, another dead tree just split in half and half of it fell against other trees leaning towards our homes. Please please would the City come quickly and assess/remove these trees before they fall on our homes. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Lark Hatfield 812-320-1855

The 2 hybrid elm trees in front of our house are dying. I think there are the same tree across the street that are dead. Can you please evaluate the possibility of removing them? Thank you.

I have two dead trees, that has not bloomed in Spring or Summer, close proximity to my house- causing potential hazard. Wanted to write this email as an official notification for City to take action, as it is on city property, and if any damage is caused in the next storm with these trees, I have reported this to you on July 27, 2024. Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. Thanks so much.

About 2:30, 1/11/24, twelve cars were at Griffy Lake dam parking lot, with two more, both City vehicles, and I asked one of them "Do bladders and bowels stop working in winter?" At first, no comprehendre. I said, why is the rest room locked? I asked them to pass on my complaint, and the guys directed me to U-REPORT. After my run at 3:30, 18 cars were in the parking lot, none city vehicles. Griffy Lake sees more than 50 cars a day, perhaps more than 100 - where the rest room? This is plainly a sanitation issue. If there's no restroom, at least walk the trails with a pooper-scooper!

There is an individual who at least on a weekly basis, tosses many empty beer cans (up to a half case at a time) into the cleared area of Griffey that is on Dunn, across from the group home. The Blue Ridge Bushwackers have removed the honeysuckle from this area and work to keep it clear. We regularly pick up this person's litter. Is there anything that can be done to discourage this behavior? Could we put up a fake camera and/or sign warning them? What suggestions would you have for us? Thank you! Jeannie Galbreath
