New streets need to include calming like hump (not horrible bumps everywhere). Safety needs now not years from now. Morning afternoon and early evening mostly. Crazy

Kirby Alley is tagged as a street in the City's GIS system and this appears to be a mistake. It shows up in the City's street centerline product published on the City's data portal. For planning, streets this close to downtown would have sidewalks, but alleys do not. This is also a traffic issue. Having this alley tagged as a street means that Google Maps (shown in image) and other software will give driving directions down the alley, which is usually not intended or desired for pass-through traffic.

The property at 708 S Adams St. is in a very run-down condition and it is at times being used by homeless people and they have been caught carrying property out of the house. The police have been called on these issues. However, our church Adams St. Chapel own's the propertiy connecting with this house at 712 S. Adams St. and are concerned for our pastorial family who have recently moved in that there could be issues with people living in and coming and going in the 708 residence. We would like to get it boarded up or condemed so that it is off limits to anyone and we would feel much safer. Please let us know if anything can be done to get this place condemed as unfit for anyone to live in. The lady who lived in it was admitted to Golden Living Nursing Home and her name is Margret Lamb. Front yard of 704 W Dodds has been covered with large sheets of black plastic for 1.5 years. That is long enough to kill what was under it and come back with new landscaping or whatever he is trying to do. Please make him respect his neighbors and remove the plastic sheeting.
I witnessed a type of "crash" at the corner of 7th Street and Morton. The driver was headed north on Morton, stopped at the stop sign, then turned right/east onto 7th Street but the driver first tried to pull into the bike lane, then at the last second hit the bike lane barrier so hard it sounded like a terrible crash. The driver/car lost a couple of large pieces of the car on 7th Street. There needs to be better signage especially for cars driving NORTH, turning EAST onto 7th Street.
Hi there, I live at Madison Downtown, 200 S Madison Street// 47404. My current landlords are Granite Student Properties. (This property has changed property management companies 4x in the 3 years I've lived here.) There was, apparently, a literal dumpster fire at this apartment complex. It must have occurred either on 2/6/22 or the early morning of 2/7/22. My conspiracy theory: Granite seems to have been neglectful in arranging city or private trash/ recycling pickup, and the dumpster overfloweth. There was an impressive pile of trash that had accumulated over the last few weeks, it smelled, it was a problem. I'm guessing a disgruntled resident (or ex-, recently-evicted resident) set the dumpster aflame in an act of vengeance. Also, near the dumpster, there is a sizable pile of human excrement. Unclear if related. In any case, since the landlords seem to be doing literally nothing about it, this seems like something the city should know about?? Help us get a new dumpster? Make sure Granite properly informs its residents when said dumpster is on fire? Insist that Granite remove the human excrement in the apartment quad? IDK pls assist SOS help
