There is an individual who at least on a weekly basis, tosses many empty beer cans (up to a half case at a time) into the cleared area of Griffey that is on Dunn, across from the group home. The Blue Ridge Bushwackers have removed the honeysuckle from this area and work to keep it clear. We regularly pick up this person's litter. Is there anything that can be done to discourage this behavior? Could we put up a fake camera and/or sign warning them? What suggestions would you have for us? Thank you! Jeannie Galbreath

At 10:04pm on Monday, June 2, 2025, I observed an older white SUV go from the west bound lane of Country Club into the east bound lane of traffic head on, then back up into the gravel/grassy area on the south side of Country Club and east of the Rail Trail parking lot. There is a gravel road that runs parallel to the Rail Trail there. I also saw headlights from a second vehicle facing north on the gravel road further down to the south, which would have been beyond where the gate is located that should keep vehicles out of that area. These appear to be homeless people. They need to be removed and that area needs to be secured so that no homeless people can drive vehicles back into the woods and live along the road. That part of City Property has already been subject to eviction and cleared out. The homeless need to be removed immediately from anywhere and everywhere along the entire stretch of the Rail Trail from Country Club to Gordon Pike, as well as anywhere along the gravel road running parallel to it. This area needs to be continuously monitored so they do not return.

Are advertising signs permitted in the Sare and Rogers roundabout? Three signs have "sprouted" in the recent week or so (see attached photo). This roundabout is complicated enough without having distracting advertising signs. Thank you for your assistance!

As I tried to obtain cash from the ATM, a homeless man walked up and waited next to me and asked me for money as I was pulling my cash from the machine. This is unacceptable and unsafe behavior

If possible, could we please contact South Bloomington HS about their loudspeakers? I realize that nearby neighborhoods are subject to some noise, but I can hear every word of the announcer. This has been an issue for years, but a friend of mine complained just texted me about it, having recently moved into the Spicewood neighborhood. I find it extreme that a house 2.2 miles away can still hear the game.
Please, I highly support public education, but I hate hearing every detail of the football game while trying to enjoy my Friday night (or for that matter, Saturday afternoon while trying to work).
