Clarification of ticket# 190254 Hidden homeless encampment of 2 people. Located in woods at corner of “The Crossing @ PeteEllis”, 812-339-1400. This spot is a heavily used Pete Ellis pedestrian crossing that should be free of distraction and threat.
My daughter resides at 2035 N. Walnut Street Apt.C37. She has multiple photos showing the mold and mildew issue in her studio apartment. She contacted Plato's Court with her concerns and they placed a dehumidifier in her apartment to assist in removing the moisture. In addition, we also purchased damp rid bags to hopefully help. She continued to have issues and received an email that the complex had closed this work order. She proceeded to email them with the objection that the mold and mildew issue was not resolved with no response. She has even made an ER visit with concerns of covid, but those results came back negative. It is a daily battle with the black residue on all her possessions, including countertops, spiderlike webbing on her ceiling, and her bathroom shower insert. We are not sure where to turn and are extremely concerned with her health. Thank you for you time.
Please do something about the homeless in and around the library. A resource officer can easily make sure they aren't bathing and congregating in bathrooms. I grew up in Bloomington and love it...but issues need to be addressed. This being a major one. The library should be a safe space. Thank you.
There is a homeless camp set up inside the trail area in the northwest part of RCA Park, on the trail west of the University Quarry section, before the trail splits to the west and south. There are several tents and the inhabitants have at least two aggressive dogs. It also likes they were clearing the area with a hatchet or machete. This is right off the trail, inside the park.
Location: 6th and Morton Streets, Bloomington IN Incident: Approximately 10:00 a.m. on 3/26/2019, a Miller Transportation bus (no passengers) struck a bike rack, completely dislodging the mounting system. It is loose, unsecured. The device and the concrete are a safety hazard. Repairs need to be affected to return the rack in its proper position in pristine condition. re: ticket 202706 you should very much allow this area to remain unmown. it makes the trail very pleasant to walk down and provides valuable habitat for butterflies and lightning bugs amongst other things. turning this into a barren, empty, mown field is just silly.
The City garage on the S.W. corner of 7th & Walnut on the N.E. stairs there is constantly a strong smell of urine. The citizen states that this is an on-going problem in the garage and someone should take care of the situation.
The cul de sac is routinely clogged in evening with cars parked on both sides. One car has been in front of my house for 4 weeks and hasn’t been moved and is parked illegally. Sometimes I have a difficult time even backing out of my driveway. What can be done about this
