Hello: I am not certain to whom I should report this problem. One of my neighbors (502 Jordan) has a shrub of poison ivy growing in the front yard. The poison ivy shrub is located in front of the house on the southeast corner of the property. Could you please ask the person who owns the house to get rid of this noxious plant? I have had an ongoing problem with a neighbors cat(s). I am severely allergic and have told them this repeatedly, contacted Animal Control, the officer had actually left a cage several times at my home only to catch other critters and never the cat. I have taken pictures over the couple of years documenting. He walks his cat(s) and laughs when I repeatedly ask him to keep the cat off of my property. I am not able to open my garage door because the cat tries to get in. I should not have to deal with cat hair, cat waste, on my property. Officer Eubanks is the one that has helped me for two years. I left a message for her recently asking her what my next step is. Haven't heard anything. What can you do to help me. This is a huge medical issue for me and I need to know who is going to assist.
Smith and Morningside, thank you for painting a bit in the area but never did crosswalks there. Super important at intersection as kids cross, is bike path both ways, etc. Said would this summer in prior report so wanted to make sure the crosswalk painting wasn't going to be forgotten since painted other stuff in area but not them. I am on the Gentry Qtrs.HOA board and wanted to compliment and thank the work crew who fixed the water leak at Gentry Quarters Condominiums on College Mall Road on 10/20/2015. The crew did a great job of fixing the leak and cleaning up the muddy mess that was the result and did so in a reasonable time. Its nice to see that kind of service from our city workers.
Failure of bloomington police department to respond to create an incident report of a serious health threat. On Oct. 28 at approximately 12:45 pm I ordered a sandwich from wichwich sandwich store on East Kirkwood ave and ask them to not place bacon on the sandwich because I have mammalian meat allergy, an allergy to all mammal meat that causes anaphylaxis. I went back to work at 517 E. Kirkwood Ave. and began to eat and after a few bites discovered there was bacon on the sandwich. I immediately returned to wichwich and they apologized for the mistake, admitting their error. I called bloomington police to fill out an incident report because anaphylaxis in mammalian meat allergy occurs 5-7 hours after consumption, when I will be at home 12 miles away from a hospital. If I have to go to the emergency room and receive any resultant care or if there is any medical or health damage - LIKE DEATH - due to this error, I wanted a police report that included the statements from the employees that they had heard my request and erred, so as to be able to support any need for costs and damages that will occur. The bloomington police department refused to send an officer to the scene. I learned this after I called the police department back after waiting 40 minutes at the store. The sergeant on duty as shift commander who refused to send a unit to the scene was Rashe. there is no place on this city website to lodge a complaint, only a place to offer compliments.....right....So what a wonderful city; hopefully my child won't be without a father after tonight.
