I am curious as to why Bloomington, Indiana does not have any E85 stations (Ethanol for FlexFuel Vehicles). Is there a ban on it in Bloomington for some reason?
A black Nissan Maxima, license #272LIS, has been parked in the same spot for at least a month without being moved. This vehicle was reported two months ago for the same thing. Our street is bearly wide enough for two cars. Address is 1641 E Maplecrest Drive, 47408.
312 N. Park Ridge Road - new fence is super close to the road all around front and side of home. Super ugly and bad for property values. This allowed? Also please check land restrictions. Is this violated? PARK RIDGE EAST PART ONE land restriction: “No fence, hedge or shrub planting which obstructs sight lines at elevations between 2 and 6 feet above the roadways shall be placed or permitted to remain on any corner lot within the triangular area formed by the street property lines and a line connecting them at points 20 feet from the intersections of the street lines . . .”
Hello, I wanted to ask where Bloomington is at with setting up a community owned internet service provider. I have not heard about it in the news lately and was wondering if there were any updates. This issue is especially important to me after the FCC's vote against Net Neutrality. I believe community owned internet would be a great step in the right direction. Thank you.
Dear Mayor Hamilton- Three months ago I sent you an email asking about the installation of assisted listening devices at speaking venues, especially where the city and county councils and various public advisory groups hold meetings. Also at the courthouse and other places where the public engages the judicial system. While many facilities including churches and the Monroe County Public Library have responded affirmatively to this need, the Buskirk-Chumley and the Waldron Arts Center have not; they are badly in need of assisted listening device to replace their present antiquated systems. I never received a response to my earlier email but I hope this is an item you have on your mayoral agenda. Attached is a copy of a guest column about this subject that appeared in the Herald Times. Thank you, Robert Woodley
