Construction of "The Standard" has been going on for 1.5 years, and they start at 5AM! Are there any regulations about how early people can make noise when building something? It seems like they should at least wait until the sun is up. And for how long they can do it? Do they even have a valid permit?
Citizen viewed a program on BCAT (Ch 3) at 11pm on 6/19/97 called "Wonder Woman". Says the program included over 40 obscenities (including 'f***ing b***h') and scenes of violent sex and rape. Does not think this is appropriate for public access. Understands the free speech issue, but thinks this violates BCAT's own policy on obscenity as described to him by a BCAT employee. People don't know how to park with the "fancy curbs" at the Monroe County Library. Both on Kirkwood & Lincoln. Totally confused with the curbs. Person thought she was parked ok, got tkt because her car jutted into the street causing a hazard.
