Recently planted tree in city tree plot has died. Can it be replaced or removed?
As previously reported on June 10, 2025, the South side of Sudbury, between Arbor Ridge Way and the last drive east of Rolling Ridge is not being maintained by the Millennium Apartments between the Conservancy and the sidewalk. After I entered ticket # 203288, some entity did come by and cut down some of the weeds with a long handle type device reaching out from a truck. It really did a poor job of clearing the area and it is already grown up again. Also, the north side of Sudbury, which belongs to Developers, is also a mess and not being maintained or mowed. Several neighbors have complained and so that is why I am entering a ticket again.
There are two trees on city property that are in danger of falling on my gazebo and my neighbors house.
A branch of a tree covers the speed limit signal. Please, let me know when action is taken. Thanks
The field on Christopher Way has yet to be mowed this year. I called and filed a complaint. I contacted Abby Scott and still nothing has been done. I am getting a lot of mice in my yard and they are coming from that field. Isn’t the city required to mow it and then bill the owner if the owner isn’t taking care of it? Can someone PLEASE take care of this.
The culvert by the driveway has corroded and there are sharp edges where someone might be walking. Is this a city maintenance issue?
I contacted Duke Energy on July 8th. A transformer has been disconnected. I do not know whose line it is but want to make sure it is fixed before any further major issues. It’s getting lower each day and is hanging directly above my driveway. Thank you, Jason
Building a deck. No building permit. Have 6 chickens and a chicken coop. Do they have a permit? Built a large shed close to the property line. No building permit.
In mid June there was heavy storm damage on my property. Insurance company involved. A utility pole had to be replaced, but there are still a lot of cables on my property: in my fence, hanging from my trees, in my yard south of the fenced in area. My understanding is that the cables are Comcast (according to AT&T). I have contacted Comcast multiple times and filed a complaint against them with the attorney general this afternoon. When Duke came to replace the utility pole they didn't remove all of the metal security cables. They also didn't fill in the area around the pole enough. There is a big hole next to the new pole. There are exposed wires on it as well. Basically, it looks like an electrical hazard and it has kept me from cleaning up the tree that fell, do yard work, spend time with my family & dog in the backyard due to potential danger. I know this isn't an issue with City of Bloomington to address, but if you could help or advise on how to expedite the cable cleanup and make sure the utility poles are secure, straight, and that all surrounding wires are high enough on the poles I would really appreciate it. I'm kind of at a loss as to who else I should contact to get this stuff taken care of. Thanks!
