REFERRED BY STREET DEPT: THERE IS A HOLE IN THE BLACKTOP AT THE CORNER OF HIGHLAND AVENUE & MILLER DRIVE (HIGHLAND HOMES SUBDIVISION). PER STREET DEPT. IT SEEMS THAT THE SEWER LINE WAS NOT COMPACTED BEFORE IT WAS COVERED BY BLACKTOP. THE SIDEWALK AS WELL AS THE ROAD APPEAR TO BE SINKING IN. IT DOES SEEM LIKE SOMEONE, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHO, HAS BEEN OUT LOOKING AT THE PROBLEM.
Represents Rockport Hills N'hood Assn. Says sidewalks were promised in Rockport Hills and have not been provided. Developer was to provide sidewalks, streetlights and trees. None of it has been done.
Re: Intersection of Hoosier St and Cherry Street. Citizen says chunks of pavement have washed away and street needs to be repaired. Said County would never take care of this area and hopes the City will do better now that it has been annexed. Please respond to Julio in PW.
1301 has "conditions of approval to pave drive-way" that have not been met. Public Works received complaint from Bob Branam of 1219 S. Stull who has stone from 1301 washing into the drainage ditch in front of his house. Causes flooding to his yard & home every time it rains. See attch'd for more info.
Are the 3 daycares on S. Stull (1301, 1313 and 1315) all legally non-conforming. See attc'd for more info.

COMPLAINT THAT NO STOP SIGNS IN SOUTHERN PINES SUBDIVISION STILL UNDER DEV. OF SITE PEOPLE USE THE SUBD. FOR THROUGH STREET SINCE ROCKPORT ROAD IS CLOSED. PLEASE GIVE THIS COMPLAINT TO GARY.
