Dear City Department / Fleet Supervisor, I am writing to report a near-miss incident involving a City vehicle that occurred on 2/16/2026 at approximately 9:41am at the intersection of Stipp Rd, Handy Rd, and Moffett Rd. I was traveling from Stipp Rd toward Moffett Rd when a City vehicle pulled out from Handy Rd onto Moffett Rd at the same time I was proceeding through. It appeared that the driver may have misjudged the right-of-way or believed there was a stop sign controlling my direction of travel. As a result, I was forced to swerve and slam on my brakes to avoid a collision. Had I not reacted immediately, I likely would have either struck the City vehicle or ended up in the ditch on the right side of the roadway. The situation was extremely close and could have resulted in significant vehicle damage or serious injury. The City vehicle was described as: Vehicle type/color: Gray Ford Escape Plate Number: 100008 I am submitting this report out of concern for public safety and to help prevent a future accident by this individual. Residents of 524-C: loud music shaking walls and windows, drug odor, suspected underage drinking, singing, screaming, yelling all night every night (weekdays) often from roughly 8pm to between 3 and 6am.

Broken Large recycle container lid. I previously reported. Was told it would be fixed twice and it has not been. Original ticket was closed without action so I called again and was told it would be repaired last week and it was not. So, reporting again hoping issue will be taken care of. What appears to be a sump pump discharge pipe at 801 W Howe Street is sending a significant amount of liquid water into the public right-of-way during freezing conditions. Water is being dumped onto the sidewalk on S Maple Street, between W 2nd and W Howe. This is creating a driving hazard and safety issue at the intersection of W Howe and S Maple, as the liquid water is running out into the intersection, pooling, and freezing into a sheet of ice. What doesn't freeze at this intersection is travelling down Howe to the entrance for the Building Trade Park parking lot, where it is also freezing into a sheet of ice.
