I walk through Switchyard Park on a regular basis, generally between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. I notice that the restrooms at Switchyard Park open at 10:00 a.m.; I urge you to consider opening them at 8:00 a.m. The park gets quite a lot of use, as early as 7:30 a.m., by joggers, bikers, skateboarders, pickle ball players, etc. Personally my wife and I have needed the restroom on several occasions before 10:00 a.m. Recently I saw a gentleman who appeared rather frustrated that the restrooms weren't open at 8:30 a.m. Please consider an earlier opening time. The larger shelter at Building Trades Park looks like it will fall down any minute. I went there for a neighborhood meeting a couple weeks ago and am no longer comfortable scheduling our own neighborhood meetings in the park because it looks so unsafe

Sycamore Shelter - As of Saturday, March 6 at around 5:30 p.m., there was human feces on the ground near the fireplace. Additionally, there was trash left on the shelter's tables and in the fireplace. Waterfall Shelter - At the same time as above, there was a gentleman sleeping in the fireplace of the shelter. He appeared to be using this as his primary shelter/home. As a result from the trash, feces, and individual, both shelters were rendered unusable for families.

The path surrounding the parking lot of the Winslow Sports Complex needs to be repaved. It is worn to the nub, cracked and uneven. It is a hazard to elderly and infirm people (of whom I am one). I walk there every day, several times a day. There are many of us who do this. During baseball games, there are also many parents and grandparents who have to walk this path. You are just waiting for a lawsuit if this goes unrepaired. Thank you. Janet Greenblatt

People have been camping in the shelter houses at 9th St. Park for several weeks, if not months. I've been reluctant to officially report it but over the last week it's become a bit more permanent. And also a bit unruly.
