Last night our group was riding on the B-line trail and we noticed a golf cart was using the trail. A Marshall Security car stopped the golf cart, spoke with him for a bit, then told him to, 'Have a nice day'. The kart continued on the B-line over the bridge into Switchyard Park and the security guard drove off. Are golf carts allowed to use the B-Line trail? If not, why was this user allowed to use the trail and why isn't security actually doing something to stop it?
The pedestrian bridge over the creek {Early History Trail} RCA Park has a massive blockage of trees limbs etc. Heavy rain creates a massive pool of water the eventually releases down stream, affecting property down stream. Please remove. Thankyou
The button for the dog water fountain is sticky. I've walked past it a couple times and water is trickling out of the lower bowl. If I push the button a couple times it gets unstuck and the water stops.
Not a complaint! Thank you for letting fragmented eco-systems repair themselves. Letting living things grow and take back the areas that have been destroyed for sidewalks, side paths and trails. Animals, insects and plants are now taking back what was destroyed by fragmentation. This truly is tree city USA.
The Polly Grimshaw Trail has shrubbery/trees over hanging such that one has to duck (at least) to avoid the branches while biking. This is especially a problem as it effectively makes the bike path one way in some locations. Please trim the branches to increase safety along the trail. Also, there is poisonous hemlock along the trail. It woudl be great to remediate that section of trail. Thanks!
Overhanging bushes make travel difficult, and even dangerous at night for bikers and runners. Beware the poison hemlock on the west end of the eastern part of the trail, just near the swimming pool. Sap can cause skin irriation.
The tulip poplar planted along the S High St recreational path last autumn is showing no signs of life this spring. All of the other tulip poplars in the area are now fully leafed out. This is the last tree in the row that includes the yellowwoods north of Wimbleton St. Would love for it to be replaced this year. Thanks.
Please slash back the overhanging tree limbs along the wooded asphalt trail between Olcott Park and the lower goat farm area. People have to duck and weave to avoid branches.
Hello! First, thank you for being one an absolutely cherished and wonderful part of our city. Parks and Rec does such great work! On the Jackson Creek Trail between Sherwood Oaks Park and Olcott Park, just past the bridge as you head up the hill on the way to Olcott Park, there is a Sycamore Tree leaning over the path, and a smaller tree has fallen and is leaning on the Sycamore. Would you mind having Urban Forestry check that out please? There are so many people who use that path between the parks. Thank you so much for all that you do! Sincerely, Bronwyn Shroyer
