The west side of the trail between the dog park at switchyard and country club road has absolutely zero trash receptacles. This means that anyone who might have garbage or pet waste has nowhere to dump it when they are on the west part of the trail. The east section of the trail has two between the dog park and country club. It would be convenient if there were just one trash bin in the west side of the trail.

Can the Bloomington Police patrol the Rail Trail and stop the electric motorcycles racing up and down? On Friday evening I was riding a regular bicycle north to Food Truck Friday when a group of 4 kids on electric motorcycles came south on the trail at a high rate of speed. They are passing close at high speed next to people they overtook going south. They were not yielding space to northbound trail users. These electric motorcycles aren't allowed on trails. They need ticketed and impounded for the safety of everyone.

Yesterday morning, Wednesday August 20, at approximately 11:00 am, I was riding my bike southbound on the B-Line trail through Switchyard Park. In front of me on the trail was a riding lawn mower. As I pulled around to pass the mower on the left, the driver turned left without looking and knocked me off my bicycle. No one was injured, but the front wheel of my bike is wrecked. The incident occurred near light pole BL 29, which appears to have a security camera on it, in case it's helpful to review the camera footage. The operator of the mower is named Larry Norris, he works for Green Dragon Lawncare, under contract to perform maintenance services for the City. If it's possible to have my wheel replaced by their insurance, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

The trees and bushes in the Rail Trail parking lot along Country Club Drive are getting rather overgrown. The branches and bushes are obstructing the pedestrian and bicycle path that goes along the east edge of the parking lot to connect the Rail Trail to the B-Line. Can this all get trimmed back? Cut it back far enough it doesn't just grow right back in 2 weeks. Thanks.

Hi, I don’t know if the parks department or city cares much about it but there are large patches of Japanese knotweed growing along the trail. It's a tricky plant to get rid of and requires strategic doses of herbicide at specific stages in it's life cycle and for multiple years. Y'all might already be aware and I've chatted with a lady working on other invasives along the trail. I live in Broadview 2nd and have been keeping my eyes out for it to keep it out of the neighborhood. I just wanted to bring it to someone's attention. The subreddit for invasive species seems to have the most up to date methods of attack and discussion I've found. Cutting it down only makes it angry and dig in/spread more. A previously broken branch has shifted and is now hanging dangerously low over the B-line spur trail next to 2603 S Bryan. The ends are roughly eye-level and pose a hazard to pedestrians and cyclists.
