RCA park dirt perimeter trail has trees blocking trail in different areas, mostly along southern and western edges. From Star View entrance, go clockwise on trail to just past Northwest corner.
Bags of trash were left on trail near Star View entrance of RCA park. They are across trail from sign about old roads.
tree fell across trail at winslow woods nature trail near shelter
A tree on southside of road, between gate and parking lot, has partially fallen and is hung up on a tree on northside of road. Leaning enough to possibly prevent vehicles with bikes on top from going past.
So when we have a 5 ft concrete sidewalk WE are responsible to clear it for the kids. As propertty owners. Then the city replaces it with 10 ft of asphalt, assuring us that we are no longer responsible for it. “We will take care of it, Parks and Rec will deal with it in a timely manner”. We get 0.7 inches of snow, the path is icy, and the city is nowhere to be seen. We have to clear the now TEN ft of path ourselves to avoid being sued. FU Hamiltlon! This is is less than an inch!
Isn’t it interesting how all the complaints about the south High street trail clearing are closed, without resolution, mere hours after being logged? AND YET nothing has been done! WE have to clean up this mess ourselves. Thanks, Hamllton for your lies.
ornamental LED light on B-Line at Morton and Allen Street is out.
Here is the content of the email we received at the Mayor's office. "The electric company’s tree trimming crew was recently working along the B-Line trail and they left a lot of debris in the storm water ditch. Along with the debris that was already there, the ditch is now clogged such that water overflows and floods the trail. This is close to light pole number 83, a short distance south of the driveway that connects the convention center parking lots (i.e., a short distance north of Second Street). It would be a simple matter for two workers with shovels and a truck to clear the debris out of the ditch."
