533 N Lincoln puts out trash for pickup on 10th Street. Currently has overflow trash container with bags surrounding on 10th street sidewalk causing pedestrians to walk in street. Plus overflowing recycle container in yard on 10 th street side. Problem on several levels. Please help if you can.

228 North Sheffield. A huge trash container has been in the driveway for literally a year now at least I imagine. Surely there is some limit on PERMANENT placement of a personal mini-dump, aka giant trash container, in a public visible area? Both for health and aesthetic. I understand even a couple months if something big is happening, but not permanent placement of trash. Can someone please request the homeowner if nothing else can be done to please move it? And route this concern to City officials if not against some city ordinance? I think we have a neighborhood officer Norm if he can knock and see what their plan for it is. Trash from dumpster and donations left are littered throughout property and along Diamond Ave., W. Cottage Grove, Morevac Way and B-Line trail. The dumpster needs to be removed, contained or relocated. If the sources of litter are better managed the city wouldn’t appear so trashy. Homeowners and businesses need to be held accountable for the trash in our city generated from their properties. We should strive to do better. Maybe the next administration will take charge and help us get back to the beautiful Bloomington we used to have.

For the past two weeks our trash and recycle have not been picked up, but our neighbors have. We have paid our bill and we have followed all of the rules listed on your website. The only problem I can see is perhaps the trash and recycle cans were too close to each other, but they had been moved (over 4 feet apart from each other) prior to this Monday morning pick up. We would like our things to be taken, and if possible before the next weekly pick up. Thank you!
