There are a ton of shoes hanging from the electric wire over the N-S alley that is parallel to and between Fess and Park, between Cottage Grove and 11th Street. It looks like a relatively new utility pole and the wires are hanging way down due to the weight of the shoes.

There is a utility pole at this location and there are always bags of (presumably) dog poop right by it. It seems like they pile up for a bit and then get cleared away, so I’m guessing someone is just staging their dog poop here before transferring it to an actual trashcan. It’s gross and I wish someone could catch whoever is doing this. The property at 2514 has a dog. Thank you.

We believe the rental residents of this home moved out several weeks ago (graduation weekend) and left full garbage cans and bags of garbage on the front lawn, which is attracting rats and other scavenging animal who have ripped open bags and spread the trash across the yard and neighboring properties.
