Hi friends, My name is Amy and I volunteer at a youth center. Recently we have been discussing the importance of fire safety in the children's homes so they can be prepared in case of emergency.Two of the kids, twins Tyler and Ben, had a slight scare when a minor fire broke out in their kitchen last week. Luckily nobody was hurt and there wasn't much damage. The boys did some web searches at home and found this page that they brought in for me to see - http://www.dandalaw.com/resources/fire-safety-before-during-after/. I suggested that they share this with you because it had such great information and I also want to impress upon them that by reaching out and simply asking others, like yourself, things can be accomplished that the kids might not otherwise think they can. Would you please add a link to this resource for them? It would mean a great deal to them and they would be so excited to see that you included it on your page, even if it's only for a little while. This year we lost a VALUABLE member of Bloomington. Mr. Bruce Bundy. He was a dedicated member of the law enforcement community here in Bloomington. He committed his entire life to making our community safe. He taught classes at the Monroe county jail to help people have the tools they need to succeed. Our community is safer only because of Mr. Bruce Bundy. We owe Mr. Bundy the recognition he deserves for all the work he did for our community by making a memorial stone or enscribed marker in the city of Bloomington with Mr. Bundy's name on it.
