The "Notice of Overdue Citation" paperwork that is sent out directs people to "submit a payment to:" www.bloomington.gov I did not find a box to fill with a "submit" button. That's because that is not the url for submitting a payment. Which is a good thing because that would never make sense to design a website with everything on the homepage. Of course the correct url is: https://bloomington.t2hosted.com/cit/index.aspx If they are going to give a url that is unnecessarily three steps before the actual url, why stop there? Just tell me to submit it to google. Anyway, website and mobile apps folks, thanks for not having a submission field on the homepage, and next time you run into a transportation grandma or grandpa let them know that their notifications are bad, and that they should feel bad.

This website is a bit of an improvement from the old one, however, there are still too many steps to get to where you want to go. Also, where is anything about sustainability on the website?

Hi, Just a quick email to let you know about a link on your site which does not appear to be working. It's on this page: http://bloomington.in.gov/sections/viewSection.php?section_id=84 I'm getting an error message when I visit this link: http://www.fema.gov/areyouready/ We’ve put together a resource which I think would make a suitable replacement for the broken link - http://ammo.com/articles/why-prepare-for-a-disaster. It covers subjects such as why you should plan, what a disaster supply kit should contain and the different types of disasters; manmade and natural. All the best Sam

I notice road and sidewalk tabs, but nothing for bicycle paths and lanes. When will a tab to note closures and blockages (or complete removal of things like bike boxes) of any bicycle infrastructure be added to the app? Even short blockages/lane closures are very relevant for bicycle commuters trying to get to work safely and on time.

Looking around for lectures in Bloomington, I found the Lifelong Learning Coalition. The website is way out of date however. Is there another way to access this information?

The app is off 12 hours on reporting time. I reported a problem at 6:20 p.m. but the app said it was reported at 6:20 a.m.

To whom it may concern: I was at the website for sustainability and water barrels, here: http://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=5952 There is a paragraph, "A typical rain barrel is a drum with 50-60 gallons of capacity. In Bloomington, you can buy a rain barrel from Earth Care, the Monroe County Soil & Water Conservation District and others. Or, you can build your own! Download our step-by-step instructionshere (DOC 368.00 KB)." Unfortunately the link to the "Monroe County Soil & Water Conservation District" seems to go to a New York page! I doubt this is intentional? Please let me know. The 2013 fee schedule says $45 for a rain barrel, which I might be interested in if I can really pick one up in Bloomington IN. Thank you! Sincerely, Jacob Neumann

Hi, I hope this finds you well. I represent Healthline, a medical website dedicated to providing trustworthy health news and advice. We recently launched a new medical funding product that allows patients to raise funds to help with their medical expenses. You can see the online resource here: http://www.healthline.com/health/online-medical-fundraising I’m writing to ask that you would include this as a resource on your page: http://bloomington.in.gov/sections/viewSection.php?section_id=456 Why you should include this on your page: -Provide a resource to those in need of funding for their medical care -The tool is operated by Healthline Networks, a reputable medical and trustworthy medical website who’s content is regularly featured in Yahoo Health, Huffington Post, and New York Times Please let me know if this would be possible. Thank you again for your time reviewing. I recently noticed a sign up on the fence of the tennis courts at Sherwood Oaks park, stating they are to be used for tennis only. No exceptions. No soccer, no dogs, no skateboards. Dogs, I understand. If they eliminate on the court- what a mess. Skateboards I understand- they could damage the court surface. But I do not think there is any justification telling my sons they can’t play soccer *tennis* at those courts. My 18 year old has loved playing soccer tennis with his brother or a friend, a couple times a year, since he was about 10 years old. The soccer ball won’t damage the court surface. They are taught by their travel coaches to play soccer tennis as a fun way to improve their ball skills. There is no reason why my family does not have the right to use that court for tennis, just as much a anyone else, provided we are respectful and do not take up too much time (using it for an hour a few times a year I think is very reasonable.). We just happen to use a soccer ball instead of a tennis ball. People with dogs can go to one of the city’s dog parks. People with skateboards can go to one of the city’s skate parks. Where exactly are my son supposed to go to play soccer tennis now? This is a ridiculous exclusion, and can’t be justified.
