After the corner of Winslow and Henderson was reconstructed, there has been a serious problem with the drainage after a good rain. As the photo shows, there is a significant puddle on the south east corner and it takes a long time for it to go away. Pedestrians take a risk going around the puddle. Thank you.

I have previously described this issue of dead trees in the front yard of a rental property at 526 E. University, and I would like to know when I might expect an answer to my concern. Thank you.

Prosecutor and Mayors view on taxes that were in paper the week ending July 19th. I was out of town all week and read the newspaper and for the first time in my 72 years living here was embarrassed to say this was my hometown and am ready to move out of this town.

The council map has no information on it; it's just a regular map without color-coded districts or anything. https://bloomington.in.gov/interactive/maps/councilmap
The link to the "map letter" pdf is broken or just doesn't display the map. https://data.bloomington.in.gov/dataset/city-council-district-maps

When trying to use the Bloomington uReport mobile app (iOS), attempting to report a streetlight outage, the app says to report it to Duke Energy at "www.duke-energy.com/lightre..." and then cuts off. I had to google search instead to find where to submit a report to Duke.
Also, it shouldn't matter whether Duke maintains the streetlights or not. Constituents should be able to report a streetlight being out to the City, and then the City takes care of reporting it to Duke.

I'm not sure where to mention this... but, with the resurfacing of the Bryan Park tennis courts going on, are there plans to put a few Pickle Ball Courts in there? Now seems to be the right time... and the sport is gaining popularity by the minute. It is so much more accessible than tennis... and so much fun!

I have been getting a number of uReport complaints addressed at Cityhall, with the address of the problem stated in the comments. Is there an easier way to choose the address for the complaint that could be made part of the program?

People are using Boce Court in Switchyard as their semi-permanant residence and sleeping much of the day camped out on the benches. We have been dissuaded from playing multiple times and this was not how the park was intended to be used. Thanks.

I do not support an increase in the local state income tax. This is money that I worked for. Not you. You do not have the right to take our money for your own agenda.

The new median installed seems like an addition to try to help pedestrians make a safe transition across the street. I think that’s a great step as I often have worried about students at dismissal from south trying to safely make their way across that intersection to the bus stop. However as it currently is, it is not safe for drivers & maybe not even pedestrians. I watched 2 cars drive right over it just after dark, one definitely popped a tire. When I passed it another time I noticed multiple tire marks over the median. There does not seem to be clear enough markings on the median to warn drivers that they need to swerve to the side to avoid it. This is certainly true at night, yet I believe may be true during the daytime too as there are no signs or markings to show that the driver must shift to the right around the median or slow down in any way. Perhaps this measure taken to try to improve safety is actually more dangerous to all. A pedestrian may have a false sense of safety standing on an unmarked median that is not early visible or marked for cars to see. Can it be made into an official crosswalk with proper signage and clear expectations for drivers to slow, be aware and stop for pedestrians? Please take steps to make this safer for drivers and pedestrians. If school ever resumes this seems even more dangerous than it was before the addition of this median. Thank you!
