Overflow from drainage ditch running along Patterson. This if from 722 W Allen St, 4 houses down from the creek/ditch. It’s probably clogged or blocked, not allowing proper drainage. 2nd time it’s gotten this bad this spring. Has never been anywhere near this in the previous 5 years.

Neighbor is pumping his basement water 24 /7 onto property line flooding my backyard. Is this illegal?

Flooding from the drainage creek that runs along Patterson (by Catalent). My home on Allen is 4 houses down from the creek. I've lived here since Aug 2013, and this has only been an issue since 2018/19. It's flooded to this extent 5 times in the last 3 years, never once in the 5 years prior. This timeframe roughly correlates with when infrastructure construction happened for Switchyard Park which is just a couple blocks away. When I've reported previously, I've simply been told "no blockage found." So I'm hoping for more feedback this time. I think the city needs to look into flooding mitigation in our neighborhood.

Hello, My home sits at the bottom of an incline where the water in the neighborhood drains onto our driveway and property. Every time it rains the water causes erosion on the property and flooding to our garage and yard. Not only is the un-directed water effecting us, but is also causing the road to erode where water is standing on the asphalt. As well as eroding neighbors propertys and driveway, which then end up in front of our home puddled in the street,(water,gravel,soil). A solution could be installing curbs and catchment drains in the surrounding area to better direct the water from causing more damage to ours and neighboring properties. Bicycling on Howe, I was struck by the fact that both storm sewer grates appear to be obstructed by yard waste, which will become an issue when we get our spring rains before the thaw. I suspect that this is not an isolated experience.
