This is a very unsafe location where pedestrians need to cross to get to parking on the other side of Fee Lane and there is no stop sign or cross walk to facilitate this. I have been told that the university and city need to come together to solve this. Someone has been hit by a car here in the past year, so I would like to see some kind of solution to slow or even stop traffice on Fee Lane
People absolutely FLY down our road (west 8th). Multiple family pets have been hit and kids are always trying to play outside but have to worry about cars not paying attention. Speed bumps need to be put in.
Traffic pattern change at 3rd and Mitchell near campus makes turning west onto 3rd street very dangerous. To pull up far enough to see westbound traffic you are looking out the back windows of the car and can't actively be watching for pedestrians walking east. Also, when cars turn east onto 3rd from Mitchell it completely blocks the view of oncoming traffic for those wanting to turn west onto 3rd.
This is a dangerous intersection! Is there a way to alter the grading of the street on Allen as you turn onto Bloomfield Rd? It is so steep that it is dangerous turning right or left.Drivers creep out onto Bloomfield FAR to try to make the turn. It's difficult to see and the hill is so steep that it's hard to get traction on the road to pull out. The center lane on Bloomfield is a help, but not enough. Something needs to change on Allen. We live on that corner and another accident happened today from someone making that turn. Is it possible to change the grading of the road? Can Allen be diverted to a little further East so it's not so steep? Can the actual street be raised? Would a traffic light help at that corner? Nobody likes this intersection. We've lived here 12 years and have witnessed several bad wrecks. Please consider doing something before someone is hurt.

Is there a way to level Allen St from the stop sign back about 50 feet at the Bloomfield Rd intersection? The slope causes accidents and near accidents. We've had 3 cars in our yard since we've been there. We've had to fix up the chain link fence best we could. In 2 situations, our gas meter was hit, which is a serious hazard. From about 3PM - 6 PM this intersection gets backed up sometimes all the way to Aldi. There's too much left turn traffic for just one lane. There really should be either 2 left turn lanes to help prevent traffic from blocking the entrances to multiple businesses or the light should have a left turn arrow so each car no longer has to half yield to make sure the oncoming traffic isn't going straight before they can turn. It's a hazard as well as a huge inconvenience for all drivers. I'm surprised the businesses on this section of the road don't complain daily about their parking lots being practically inaccessible.
At the Atwater & Mitchell intersection Atwater becomes two-way going east towards High Street. Before the recent resurfacing of Atwater there was a painted arrow on Atwater Street just before Mitchell to warn drivers they had to turn left onto Mitchell. I have seen drivers on multiple occasions recently continuing on Atwater after crossing Mitchell driving on the wrong side of the road. Painted arrows and signs would be helpful at this intersection.
