Please put a traffic circle at the intersection of N Smith Rd. and E 10th St. Waits can be interminable and with the hospital now on this side of town it’s getting worse. It looks to me like there is plenty of room for a circle.
Is there a way to level Allen St from the stop sign back about 50 feet at the Bloomfield Rd intersection? The slope causes accidents and near accidents. We've had 3 cars in our yard since we've been there. We've had to fix up the chain link fence best we could. In 2 situations, our gas meter was hit, which is a serious hazard. I wanted to propose the addition of a pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of N Fess Ave and E 10th St. I live in Collins, and when walking between Hillcrest and the general courtyard buildings there are no immediate crosswalks in the area. The addition of white lines, particularly on the west end of this intersection (where there is already a metal grate where the sidewalk meets the road) would be very helpful for residents of Collins and would make the area safer for pedestrians trying to cross the street.
At the intersection of East 10th street and N Smith Rd, N Smith R gets very backed up because traffic does not stop on East 10th. If someone wants to turn left, they have to wait for traffic coming from both ways. There is one lane on N Smith Road so traffic becomes backed up very quickly when someone needs to turn left. This happens especially in the afternoon. Traffic can become so backed up it extends past Meadow Park Apartments, nearing a hill. This can be dangerous when cars cannot see the stopped traffic until after coming over the hill.
I would like this intersection to be "No Turn On Red" for northbound traffic, and possibly have a few seconds delay for pedestrians/bikes to cross before the light turns green. It's dangerous to have cars hooking around bikers in the bike lane trying to go straight across. Thanks!
Southbound on Dunn, at 6th St: tree needs trimming, stop sign obscured
Sign indicating turn and reflective lights desperately needed. Two cars have gone of road at this same turn in last two months. Woman was trapped for over 24 hours on over incident. Second incident took down a utility pole which is still down.

I have speeding cars using my street (East Park Lane) as a shortcut from/to Smith Rd to 3rd St/Pete Ellis. This will only get worse when the new IU hospital opens. We have new families with children walking and biking this street. There isn't a sidewalk and this isn't about the amount of traffic. It is a road psychology issue. An example: delivery and lawn-care trucks w/trailers use out street to avoid the speedbumps on Morningside and Longview. Thank you for your attention.
Is there anyway the city can paint parking lines on 100 W. 8th street? Before the paved this road, there were lines and since they paved this I believe last year, the city has neglected to doing this causing vehicles at times to take up two spaces. This has been mainly an issue at night. Please look into this. Also, the blue curb for the handicap space is extremely faded and really needs to be repainted.
