I would like to report several trees along High Street with low-hanging branches that are partially blocking the sidewalk. These tree branches are hanging 3-5 feet above the sidewalk and making it very hard for anyone to walk or run without having to duck constantly. The tree branches are posing a hazard because pedestrians may need to step out into the street to navigate around them because they are partially obstructing the path.
Is the city responsible for the trimming of tree branches above sidewalks? The issue has been worsening since last year.

A plastic drain cover in my front sidewalk is missing at 710 E. Maxwell Lane. Someone will break their ankle on this if it is not repaired. I reported this some time back and nothing happened.
Thank You.

The sidewalk on Henderson at Bryan Park just south of where the creek goes under the sidewalk had been cut and filled with gravel and has been that way for weeks. Someone could trip there. Are there any plans to fix that?

The sidewalk in front of the dentist office at 221 east 7th street has a speed bump across it where the parking lot connects to 7th street. This is a tripping hazard for pedestrians.

Good job of snow removal and de-icing on the Allen-Covenanter Greenway and the B-line this winter. Hopefully we can find funding to de-ice all of the side paths around town in future, but this is a good start!

The bike rack at Sahara Mart on 2nd street is not ideally located. It is afixed to a street sign. The street sign blocks one of the parking spots. The rack faces the street and if you park your bike on the side of the rack that you are supposed to, it hangs in the street. The other option is park your bike on the "wrong" side of the rack and have it hanging in the sidewalk in the way of pedestrians. Plus, the bike isn't well supported on that side, so the chances of it falling over are great.

"new 7th street extension"
Hello, I am a cycling commuter. I go from the east side to the west side of town and use 7th street and the new tunnel under bypass.
The new 7th street connection to this tunnel has an extra high "lip" on the sidewalk/driveway entrance to this tunnel. If you could shave it down to create a more gentle slope for skinny bike tires it would make the ride from the road into the tunnel (going east) much safer. thank you.

There are several sidewalk cuts along Washington Street in front of the AT&T building that are covered with smooth metal pieces. These metal covers provide absolutely no traction when wet and are very dangerous for pedestrians.
Can these please be replaced with the more common covers that have raised ridges to provide some traction?
