The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike.
Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop
Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me.
Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light.
Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right.
Thank you

The sidewalk closed signs have been removed from the new pathway on High Street, yet the new driveways that were poured are several inches higher than the pathway. This is a significant hazard for pedestrians, and bikers.

Hi, I was wondering if it might be possible to consider making a crosswalk at this location. It is located right at a bus stop, and for pedestrians walking along the bus stop side of the road (east side), it would be great to be able to cross the street safely here over to Renwick (specifically, for me, the Village Center shops).
Thanks for your consideration!

Walking path along the roadside at South East park is very dangerous for pedestrians. East Moores Pike, a high speed road is higher in elevation than the path. Would suggest a guard rail along the road to prevent vehicles from being able to run over someone on the path if they were to leave the roadway.

At the corner of East Third Street and Jordan Avenue, why are there no crosswalks painted in the street for pedestrians crossing Third Street? It seems very odd that there are pedestrian signals telling pedestrians when they may cross, but no pavement markings showing them WHERE to cross.

Unexpected, unmarked angle in pavement within the 7th St biking lane. This is an addition to the pavement surface that is unsafe for cyclists. It is a hill that is angled for water runoff but not in the private property of the apartments. Not a city addition. Please make it level with the street. Thank you.

Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. There will be marked crosswalks on 3rd at Rose.

Thanks for the response. I have noticed the bike stripes. My concern is crossing 3rd at Rose as a pedestrian. Is there any chance of a crosswalk there?
Thanks,
Hannah

Subject: uReport request
Good morning,
Thank you for your uReport request regarding Rose Avenue. At this point, the likelihood of a sidewalk on Rose Avenue is very low. You probably have noticed changes on 3rd Street as a result of the City's Greenways Implementation Plan, however. Rose Avenue in the segment you describe is designated as a neighborhood greenway as well. So you will see some additional signage and striping at the 3rd & Rose intersection if you haven't already.
Thank you again for your uReport request.
Thanks,
Adrian
