I dropped by car off yesterday at World Wide Auto, and was biking home (heading west) along the sidepath on the north side of Tapp Road. Somewhere between Deborah Drive and Weimer Road, there is a drive cut, and the sidepath has a sudden and difficult to see drop of about 8 inches to the ground. There is no warning of this drop, and I had quite a crash because of this. This needs to be corrected ASAP. Thanks!
Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. Unexpected, unmarked angle in pavement within the 7th St biking lane. This is an addition to the pavement surface that is unsafe for cyclists. It is a hill that is angled for water runoff but not in the private property of the apartments. Not a city addition. Please make it level with the street. Thank you.
A couple weeks ago cbu dug a hole at 11th&college and abandoned a sign in the bike lane on the south side of 11th just west of college. It moved to the sidewalk, and i reported it as blocking the sidewalk on april 5. Now it has disintegrated and moved back to the bike lane. Its black base is almost invisible at night and poses a mortal danger to cyclists. You wont like where i put it if you dont take care of ot within 24 hours.
Please replace the lights in the bike tunnel that goes under Bypass 46 and 7th street. I've received a report of someone being assaulting while they were on their bike.
Overgrown trees on the polly grimshaw trail before you turn to go under the bbypass make it difficult to make the turn without heading into traffic going in the opposite direction.
