Pedestrian buttons for the crossing at the SW corner of Liberty Drive and W Third have been vandalized. I called the County and they tell me that the City is responsible for maintaining those.
South Rogers St & Country Club, turn signals for protected lanes activate when no cars are in that lane (west bound from S Rogers St north bound)
Northside of Country Club at Rogers light: southbound traffic doesn't get green light when there are no left-turners on south side of light. I've noticed this multiple times over 2 or more years when on Rogers on either north or south sides of Country Club.
Traffic signal at Bloomfield Road and Landmark: The green light for Bloomfield Road is only 9 seconds long, even when there is NO TRAFFIC on Landmark. There were 8 cars ahead of me, traveling westbound on Bloomfield, and it took two light cycles to get through. During that time, there was no traffic at Landmark.
The pedestrian signals at 10th and Fee were not in sync with the voice commands at approximately 11:15 this morning. I am not sure if this is an issue that has happened more than once, but I am concerned for any negative consequences for people who have visual impairments that can prevent them from knowing when to cross without accurate voice signals. The command said it was okay to cross about 45 seconds before the light changed while several cars were westbound on 10th.
Traffic light is out at Second and College Mall
signal not working
Northbound Patterson at 2nd Street has been malfunctioning for a week now. Intermittently it doesn't turn green for several cycles. Traffic backs up to Allen St. Southbound Patterson will get all green, but northbound will only get a flashing yellow left turn arrow. Cannot believe that this has been going on for week.
Is the traffic sign on North Smith correct? I originally saw January 1-3 before realizing was January through March for utilities. Three months?! Is the City aware of how heavy the road is used by commuters? Can utility work be prioritized and expedited? What alternative arrangements is the City making to accommodate traffic? Thank you. Glad something is getting fixed but please don't take that long on that particular road stretch. Guessing something with sewer there?
