Green light at rockport and tapp is out.
Green light at rockport and tapp is out.
Gifford and Curry Pike: a long time ago (2 years ago??) I asked about the light at Gifford and Curry and the response was it was purposely set to trigger green at set intervals (because of some road construction somewhere), and would eventually be put back to being triggered by cars on Gifford. Can it please be looked at again?
Asking if you could look at the timing of the light at Patterson and Adams. I drive home from work between midnight and 2, heading northwest on Patterson toward 3rd, and the light is changing to red just seconds after the light at 2nd street turns green. With so little cross traffic that time of day, I'm wondering why it just doesn't trip on demand anymore like it used to?
The pedestrian crossing signal on the northwest corner of S. Rogers and W. Patterson is not operative.
I'm assuming you're aware of this and repair is in progress, but just in case, the South Walnut and Grimes traffic light continues to cycle green when there are no vehicles in the northbound left turn lane and when there are no vehicles from either direction stopped on Grimes.
Red light out on right side of pole at intersection of N. Adams and Kirkwood/W.3rd. Light for northbound traffic onto Adams from 3rd.
Traffic light at Kirk wood and Adams stays on green for the west bound traffic bound traffic on Kirkwood for about 3 minutes while the other lanes back up. Especially Adams which backs up from Kirk wood to the B trail in the morning
Hello! The intersection of 17th st and Kinser Pike has two left turn lanes each direction off 17th st turning both North and South onto Kinser Pike. The left turn green arrow does not get activated when there is only one car in either direction. I've seen it not get activated when there two cars. These left turns are dangerous for many reasons. This is the crest of a hill and they are basically blind turns when making a left and traffic generally speeds through this intersection very fast. If the left turn green arrow is not activated and there is someone else sitting in the opposite left turn lane facing us, there is no way to see what cars are coming without inching our front ends into the lane hoping we don't get hit and then proceeding with the aforementioned blind turn. I'm asking that the City of Bloomington make the left turn signal green arrows turning off of 17th onto Kinser Pike in both the North and South direction be activated with only one car in the lane. Please make this intersection much less dangerous and precarious for the residents of Bloomington. Gratefully! Mike Stribling mikestribling@hotmail.com
The crosswalk on Henderson, just north of Brenda Lane, does not have working, flashing lights. Two families had near-misses last week because cars coming from Henderson do not see lights and are not stopping. We believe these lights are solar, and if so, the trees need trimming in that area.
South Walnut and Hillside traffic light malfunctioning.
