It seems like something has changed with the signal at Third and Smith. If you were on Smith, the light would change soon after you came to a stop especially when there’s little traffic (early morning for example). Now, it takes several minutes for the light to change and allow the Smith Road traffic to go even in light traffic times. This causes Smith Road to be even more backed up than usual. Wanted to see if ot could be set like it used to be. Thanks!
The pedestrian crossing buttons at all four corners of East Third Street and Hillsdale/Woodscrest aren't working. Pedestrians never get a walk signal. In addition, the traffic light stays green for Third Street car traffic until a vehicle pulls up on Hillsdale or Woodscrest to wait at the light (meaning pedestrians often must try to cross when there are drivers turning left across the crosswalk).
The new pedestrian crossing signal at 11th and Diamond has a locator tone that beeps continuously 24/7, all day and all night. The signal is very close to my house (<10ft) and I can hear the tone from inside my walls, which is absolutely maddening when I'm trying to fall asleep! Please turn off the persistent locator tone on these signs, there are other tactile cues to help those with impaired vision find the crosswalk. Thanks!
We submitted a notice #187869 that notes as fixed, however the left turn light on 17th street turning north into Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall is still not working. Thank you!
Traffic light at Kirk wood and Adams stays on green for the west bound traffic bound traffic on Kirkwood for about 3 minutes while the other lanes back up. Especially Adams which backs up from Kirk wood to the B trail in the morning
Union and 10th - north bound left turn light from union never triggered until car pulled up in right northbound lane.
The pedestrian walk signal on the north side of Kinser and the bypass has been smashed. Since the signal can't be activated, the green light is too short for a pedestrian to cross the bypass from the north side before the light changes. Given that many people cross there going from the Kroger carrying groceries, this is a hazard.
On E Second Street on the west end across from Rogers and Binford schools: the YOUR SPEED indicator sign has been broken for a while now.
One more signal seems to be reset back to original settings.
