The neighborhood has insufficient street drainage for runoff, and this has threatened to flood my home again after yesterday’s rain. It already flooded with extensive damage in 2021, simply because the developers have inadequately accounted for the necessary drainage. I have documented the issue with the ONE drain on the downward slope of the street, where the water pools, meeting my front door, and even moving four parked cars. I would appreciate the benefit of your expertise regarding this matter as soon as is feasible for you. I have also contacted my homeowner’s association for assistance. Thank you!

My neighbor is continues to drain her above ground pool onto my property despite my request that she not do so as it is killing the landscape plants in my garden and makes a muddy mess. I have verbally asked, sent a certified letter and after I did so she moved the drainage hose closer the property line. I have more photos documenting all of this. Any advise or assistance that you can offer is appreciated. Thanks

Currently there is no proper rain water drainage on one side of the entire Graywell drive road. The road is eroding on one side since rain water flows over the road. Recently we had lot of rain as well and it has further eroded one side of the road. Can Bloomington Utilities install proper rainwater drainage so that roads don't need to be repaired again and again? It would be ideal if rain water can be discharged under the road. This will save lot of road repair costs. Thank you for helping the city with your work.

The new builders on the corner of Covenanter Drive and High Street installed a pipe last week. Our concern is that the pipe was not installed low enough to keep the flow of water continuing to High street and beyond. With the rainy season coming...we are concerned that the pipe will make water back up on our property. The city just spent two weeks closing off High street to fix this issue and now we are concerned that the new builders have just put something in (but not properly installed it) so they could have a little rock culvert to get to their property off of Covenanter Drive. I sent an email to Vic Kelson and Brandon Prince on Thursday, but never heard back from them. I am writing again because we would like this matter to be taken care of now before they get more involved with building and it is too late to fix the problem. I would appreciate if somebody would get back with me on this matter. Thank you.

Water doesn't drain at all at this drain site. It pools in the street, and runs downhill overwhelming the drainage capacity on the other side of the circle down by 170 E Sunny Slopes Dr.

I have a movie and many pictures to show that the new draining system on Covenanter Dr, between high street and Brooks Dr is overflowing and causing damage to properties.

The stormwater drainage ditch (also known as "Sheridan Creek") near the intersection of Sheridan and Karen continues to erode with chunks of asphalt going into stormwater drains. This was looked at a couple of years ago with a decision of "careful watching." It seems like it is now time to re-pave the culvert or put in a drainage pipe, consistent with what is at both ends of this ditch.

We have had a drainage issue here for 20 years and I have asked for help many times and no one will do anything to help us. Our grate is a poor design and gets clogged by yard debris from areas of the neighborhood and caused our area to flood. Tonight we were home to pull the grate to allow for water to recede and not go further into our garage to our house. Would someone please listen to us. We have reported this several times and also in person. We are afraid to be away from our home if there is a serious storm in the area.

The swale to the west side of our home overfilled as storm water was backed up at the street drains which then flooded the window well to our basement on June 18-19. Although our yard is regularly flooded during heavy storms, the west swale was designed and dug by the City to carry excess water to the street. We believe this swale needs to be dug deeper and lined with rock to stop erosion from occurring to prevent future flooding of our basement. Please send an engineer to evaluate. This problem has been reported several times.

two properties above us the road all the water on the road goes into the yard comes down toward are house crossing on road since it is all down hill into the neighbors beside us into my yard. it drains.in front of my garage and runs on my . about 3 to 4 inches of water on my side walk .side walk. also the road south of us also runs in neighbor east of my house also runs runs to my house. South of me there is a a large building about 40 feet long that doesn't have gutters it runs down across the road on neighbors which in turn runs toward my house. II have pictures to send in the mail which I wi8ll need to send you because I don't know how to send them in the mail. I have spent 400.00 to put a ridge to keep from running in my yard. I also had a drain dug in my drive about 4 feet from the fence running about 2 foot deep running toward the drain in the back of my house that cost me 650.00. I will write on the back of the picture that will explain what they are for when I send them thank you and I will write on the back . Also in front of garage my small car is on ramps so the water will not get my brake shoes wet and i have to not park my other car about7 feet from the garage so i can;t park a car behind my car. Thank you for taking the time
