I am requesting a ditch or pipe be installed in the wooded easement south of my property that will move the water out to the storm drain that was recently installed last year on Waldron Street in front my house. On April 13th of this year, we received a lot of rain in just a couple hours and I noticed most of the water was coming from the wooded easement South of my house and running down into my yard, pooling up and overflowing down near my basement (where i've had flooding from the street runoff in years past). Hello - I am the homeowner at 102 South Waldron St. here in Bloomington. This past Friday my basement flooded an excessive amount (3 feet) due to water buildup on Waldron Street. This has happened 4 times over the past 6 years I have lived here because the water has nowhere to go due to the flat area at the bottom of Waldron Street. I am requesting a storm drain be installed on Waldron Street just North of my house and in front of 100 South Waldron Street. My neighbors basement has also been severely flooded over the years due to water buildup from the street - the homeowners name is Simon Ladd. We both have sub pumps in our basements (I actually have 2) and it still doesn’t solve the flooding issue. I have spoken to Mr. Ladd and we both agree the best solution is for the city to install a storm drain. My number is 812-369-0765. Cone and blocks are still in the storm drain on the north side of the house. This will cause pooling of water when it rains.

There is a drain in my backyard in which water from all my neighbors yard drains into during rain and heavy storm. The ground around the drain has sunk in due to the heavy run off over the years. Need to know if this would be fixed by the city?

Flooding/Standing water accumulates between the street and our fence. Looks like this may be part of the easement. This photo was taken in January, but it is a continuous issue whenever it rains. Can you please contact me to discuss this? Thank you!

It appears that there is an long term, ongoing, active water leak coming from Sigma Pi chapter house 1430 N Jordan Ave, Bloomington, IN 47406 - on the left side of the property. Water is coming from the house, into some puddles on the drive way and leaking away from the property on to Theta Chi. I can't imagine how much water has been leaking and for how long, but it should be addressed.

4210 E. Hector Dr. Bloomington, IN 47408 We are having a lot of water issues. In the front driveway, they repaired the water mains in our neighborhood a couple years ago, and when they repaired the road, a ton of water goes from the road , straight down our driveway to the front of our house. It has caused water coming into the basement. And we had to install a drain in our driveway, and it still can't keep up. In our back yard, there is a channel of water (not sure what it's called) by the apartments that causes our back yard to flood. We have a tiny river, but it cannot handle the water that is directed to come right at our back yard. I would like to have an engineer come out and look at the issues and so we can have a conversation about possible solutions. Thanks.

There is a drain on my front lawn that does not appear to be working properly. In recent rains and snow there is a great deal of water flooding the front of the lawn and takes several days to go away. It pools over the drain. It did not use to do this. Please contact me. Thank you.

Extremely strong Sewer smell, worse at night. Every night I drive through this area and am sick to my stomach for hours afterward. It has been like this for years. Something needs to be done to fix this issue.
