Sidewalk on south side of W 17th just east of tri north construction entrance covered with mud again. I can't overemphasize that the sidewalk itself is serving as a culvert to drain several acres and this problem will not go away on its own when the construction crews leave. I'll try to remember to come out here with a ruler when it rains next week to record the depth of the creek. Kids will be using this sidewalk to walk to school even on rainy days and their shoes should not be completely submerged!! We are going to look into this today (5/17). We believe that a soil stockpile and a storm drain with inlet protection is not allowing water to flow into the storm drain. We are going to investigate again and see if we can identify the exact issue.

Said walk on south side of 14th Street just east of Woodburn avenue. This is the north side of the property at 922 North Woodburn. Completely obstructed by Bush going from the side. Also, it's supposed to be a 5-ft wide sidewalk but the minimum clear area is 3 ft wide because the hillside has come down on the sidewalk. That was a mistake when the house was built. It should have been rectified then. But maybe it should be rectified now.

Sidewalk on Northside of 14th Street. Just east of Madison Street. This is the South side of property at 312 West 14th Street. Maple tree planted too close to the sidewalk blocking half of the sidewalk. This is a brand new sidewalk that we just spent significant sum of money on. Please see to it that it is clear. Transportation plan insists that the sidewalk is clear of any and all obstructions.

sidewalk on south side of tenth st, just east of rogers. Closed for trades district garage (garmong project). the garage is open. I observed cars using it. The MOT said through feb 28, 2021. This barricade is completely inappropriate at this time. It hadn't moved in months and months - the sand bags deteriorated to rags as i moved them. This should have been taken care of months ago!

Sidewalk on Southside of 11th Street looking West at the Bentley construction site. MOT says there's supposed to be a walk around here. They removed the fence and blocked the walk around to work around the fact that they had piled supplies in the space that was supposed to have been reserved for crane access.

This is follow up on ureport #176835, covering the sidewalk just west and south of the train bridge at 11th and fairview. After 2 weeks without any progress from the city, I started doing it myself. I removed most of the large honeysuckle plants growing within 2-4 ft of the sidewalk. I removed the branches overhanging within 6.5ft of the sidewalk. As you can see in this picture, I shoveled the dirt off of the inner 1ft of the sidewalk, *and found the edge of the sidewalk* for the first time in decades!!! I did not complete the shoveling. I've put in about 3hrs labor at this site so far and anticipate another 1.5hrs before completion. It would be awesome if this kind of clearing happened at the numerous places where hillsides have collapsed onto sidewalks, often reducing effective width by 25-50%. should i finish shoveling this one or can someone in public works do it?
