Over the weekend, tenants had a bonfire on the NW corner of the building directly underneath power/utility lines. Probably illegal, but more important it was dangerous.
Neighbors burning trash and recyclables in fire pit. Smoke is making its way into our home and causing headaches.
For the past three nights, someone is burning what smells like trash in the neighborhood. Definitely not woodsmoke. This morning at 3AM the smoke was so bad we had to close our windows. Would it be possible to have someone drive through or should I call dispatch when I smell it?
Owner of this home is elderly and impoverished. His only source of heat is burning wood. This tree on city property has branches covering his chimney and we are concerned about the threat of fire. We have reached out to the city forester and the fire dept. Thank you
Open burning withing the city.
Electrical outlet on the south side of Madison very near the 10th and Madison intersection in the Trades District. Hopefully the exposed wires aren’t live, but I didn’t want to touch them to find out…
I have seen this vehicle parked illegally in the entrance to the First Financial parking garage pretty much every single day (both mornings and evenings) for months now. In addition to being parked right in the entrance, they are always blocking the "Fire Alarm Panel" access which is of concern in the event of a fire. I do notice that the vehicle sometimes points east and sometimes west so it does seem to move but it is always right there in front of the fire alarm panel access.
Apartment bldg. burned. 18 units effected.
Low hanging limbs/branches touching power lines and hitting vehicles.
