Owner leaves a lot of cans of gasoline outside-sometimes capped, sometimes uncapped--in the strip mall. People smoke at the railing and I think there's a big risk of a fire

This is still the same issue about the cable wire that has been touching my garage roof since the February tornado. I know that it is not Duke's wire. It has been identified as Comcast's wire by a repair man from QC (Comcast's contractor) on Saturday, April 25, 2026. However, Brandon Austin stated that he cannot remove it without the permission of Comcast. I called the 800 XFINITY number and requested that they remove it asap. Here is my work order #: ECM0021457478. I am very concerned because both transformers on either side of my house have been hit by the recent storms. Today, we are having another storm. Can you help prioritize this situation so that I do not have a fire enabled by the cable wire on my garage? Also, I am NOT a Comcast/Xfinity customer. This wire goes into my basement via a window and has never been in use since I purchased this house in 2020. The wire attaches to the outside pole and is connected to the Comcast system per Brandon, the QC repair man. Thank you, Elida C. Behar Monday, April 27, 2026
I am reporting a possible overcrowding/fire safety issue at Kilroy’s Sports, 319 N Walnut St, Bloomington, IN 47404, during the Chainsmokers-related event on Thursday night, April 23, 2026, continuing into early April 24. Both the downstairs and upstairs areas appeared dangerously overcrowded. People were packed tightly in both areas, and movement was extremely difficult. I have videos showing the crowd conditions upstairs and downstairs. Many guests remained packed inside because the event repeatedly suggested The Chainsmokers would perform downstairs, but the venue did not clearly clarify that they were not coming downstairs. The crowd continued waiting in unsafe conditions. I am concerned that both the upstairs and downstairs areas may have exceeded safe occupancy limits and that the crowding could have interfered with safe exiting in an emergency. Please forward this to the appropriate fire/code enforcement department for review. I can provide videos, photos, timestamps, and witness information if needed. Thank you!
U Report # 210060 Hi again, I'm following up from yesterday's U Report. Duke responded immediately with the information that the wire is a cable line. Duke recommended that I get back to my local Bloomington government because since I've owned this house I have never had cable service, therefore I do not know whose line it belongs to. Do you have any record as to who owns/is responsible for this abandoned cable line? And is there a statute of limitations for an abandoned line - can I cut it down myself? What is the risk of danger if I do so? Any insight that you can provide is appreciated. Sincerely, Elida C. Behar April 22, 2026
This trailer court has people burning trash between 8 pm to 1 am. Its so strong. If you don't see it there it is VERY close to there because i saw dark smoke coming out and a NIGHTLY Thing for over 6 months now. Just keeps getting worse. Can't even open windows if ypu live near there. Please help
permanent obstruction in the egress pathway" or a "fire hazard blocking a hallway exit door on 3rd floor." Dead plants kept for moths rotting away and a tripping hazard for the common area like the hallway. Can't go to management they will immediately tell the person who hold on them. Many tenants have the doorway cluttered with personal belongings that make it hard during a fire to get around them
I was walking in this neighborhood Friday evening around 7:30 - and looking at this map - seems to be 2015 E Marilyn Drive - and smelled smoke - the backyard is not visible on Marilyn but while I continued my walk on S Covenanter Drive I had a view of the open fire - I noticed that this appeared to be a recreational fire - but was not in an approved device - such as a fire pit - and it did not appear that there was a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby.
This pole is broken at the base, is being held up only by the wires. DANGER!
The area by Governor Park Apartments and the mobile trailer court behind it reaching towards 5665 North Lenzy or from Harbison Road area. I cant locate an exact location but once a week around 11pm and 12am there is a strong trash burning smell/ Bonfire. So strong. Very strong. Very black smoke
Im.very concerned about living at Governor Park Apartments. There is it designated smoking area right next to the building that is going into the windows in that cigarette smoke including marijuana it is technically 8 ft away from an exit but not 25 feet away from Windows and bits. I have contacted numerous people about this including hand, Aubrey through report. She said that it could be against code but they have to see it in person the thing is is that if you come here there's not one time where there is not some sort of incident or somebody's passed out at the smoking Circle and if you came and saw you would see that the cans that are used are not proper cans with trash in them and we are lightning and starting fires because people are not extinguishing them out and I really want somebody official to come and look at this problem all you have to be and look at even if somebody is not out there smoking which they're always is is the fact that how close the smoking area is to the building and how it's coming into the windows I know that this is again but may concern is the fire department just came tonight because a guy was passed out drunk one of the tenants and he was smoking a cigarette he's already started one fire. I have wrote numerous complaints to Many concern letters i have documented to my Lordlord and have it documented and nothing gets resolved. Its only getting worse.. I know or a fact that the smoking area at Governor Park Apartments is still on the property even though the claim that it is not the tens being used have no lids cigarette butts are not being extinguished out people are putting paper trash in it therefore starting fires accidentally. When it rains the cigarettes overflow and go everywhere not to mention when it's windy the can will knock over go everywhere including a lit cigarette which that area is right next to a field. It won't let me attach multiple pictures but zi have documenting of a small fire and the can smoldering.please help me. The fire department isn't helping..
