There are limited to no sidewalks on either side of the road leading up towards University Elementary School. Although the neighborhoods off Tamarron Drive and Keystone Court have sidewalks, the main thoroughfare doesn't. This makes it difficult--if not impossible--for persons to traverse the area regardless of disability status.
I have no idea how to fit this problem into the city's framework, so am putting it here. The garage you see is owned 1/2 by me and 1/2 by the neighbor (a corporation who is supposed to rent to 3 adults. the driveway is shared. As you can see, a car is parked blocking my access to my garage. The person I spoke to next door doesn't know who the car belongs to, he is a visitor. This happens all the time. There are also 2 cars parked on the other side of the house. I have talked to HAND about how to find the property line and info about getting the garage demolished. The info was woefully incomplete. I am extremely frustrated that I cannot get help from the city, who seems focused only on increasing density. I hope you're happy.
This sidewalk is so uneven that I cannot navigate it safely with my power chair. Even if we are going to the WonderLab, we usually cross to the south side of the street for this block and then back to the north side again to continue on our way.
Vegetation overgrowth on sidewalk. Not sure if this is responsibility of CFC who owns the parking lot or the house owner of 418 E. 8th as it appears to be in between. But there is now a path that people are going into the grass because nobody can get by the tree branches on the sidewalk.

We have a lot of problems with our building, including automatic doors not working, trash disposal problems and maintenance issues. There are dozens of light bulbs out on each floor. Pivotal, the company out of Ohio who bought the property last year, has had staffing issues that have caused numerous problems and bills not getting paid like trash removal and landscaping for mowing. The Fire Marshal found issues with the elevator and I have no idea if they have been corrected. Many of the residents have mobility problems and they need the front and back lobby doors working properly. This company is notorious with retaliatory evictions which I understand is illegal in Indiana. People are afraid to complain for this reason. Two property managers have walked off the job in the past 2 weeks and our maintenance guy is worthless. Please help us get these issues fixed asap! The trash issue is fast getting out of control. This is one of the sidewalks on my route to school, the library, the grocery story. It is so uneven that I have a very hard time navigating it in my power chair.

The boulder that was installed at the corner of South Fess Avenue and the alley behind Bloomingfoods/The Elm has been moved into the sidewalk.
I use a power wheelchair, and it is very difficult for me to navigate the route to school due to several very uneven sidewalks and curbs. My Mom and I took pictures of the worst places, and I'll send them block by block. This first one is of the curb/alley of the block I live on.
