Pieces of adjacent retaining wall have fallen to the sidewalk, making it impossible for people who use wheelchairs to pass. It’s been this way for weeks. Thanks.

Starting the 7th Street Bikeway project is great. I hope we have lots of low-traffic thoroughfares in twon some day. But finish what you started on Allen Street. There is no signs, no flashing beacons, no paint. Nothing that designates the street a low and slow traffic area. Cars drive way faster now with the "improvements" then they did with the hodgepodge pilot. Put some signs up. Paint the street. Put some flashers at the Washington St intersection and the Henderson St intersection. Allen is not finished.

I am not sure where to report this, but anything the City can do to stand with LGBT people during a time of ongoing hate would be appreciated. I was just looking through reports and saw the below, clearly indicating animus and negative stereotype toward the whole of queer people. I know hate will remain but I'd love to make sure the City's voice of tolerance and affirmation remains stronger. I appreciated the Mayor's remarks (and hopeful ongoing action) regarding the anti-Asian hate incident the other week.
Ureport "Other: After the these two fags or queer child molesters was caught sex trafficking adopted boys. And the Drag fags queen events & switchyard park all with in months of SB -145 in support of such sick shit. We need to pass a law to start public hangings by their rainbow flags down town on live tv."

This is Rebekah Deckard responding to the email on people making it difficult for me to get in vehicles of those who come to pick me up to go places to not only being physically disabled but legally blind. I attempted to reply to the email on there being a parking pad cancaretakers (I have help besides caretakers. Ex: rides to church) not pick me up there.
I am certain I stated how all park in the front to the house being on the corner intersecting with two roads it is on a slope/ hill. So the driveway is very difficult for me. When some have parked there (to my front entrance of sidewalk very close to it being blocked basically) the door of the passenger side I am in almost shuts on my leg. I am also 4'10" so this makes things more difficult to most do not have smaller lower sitting vehicles I can just step out of.. in fact sometimes I must use a step stool type device to get into the vehicle. As well as the steps to enter the back pose a risk of my falling. I request others not use the back entrance to the storm door is off balance so it does not close properly. Despite maintenance trying to remedy this.
Again, I was certain I stated why I do not use the entrance with the driveway in my original contact.
As stated already as well, I tried to reply to the email on thisbonnthe 22. It was returned to me.ni have had medical appointments the past two days so had no time to be online much.
Thank you again for your time,
Rebekah

My friend, who uses a wheelchair for mobility, and I went to the Office Lounge on Saturday night. While the building is accessible the bathrooms are not. The door was not wide enough for him to enter and he has a small manual chair. A larger motorized wheelchair would not fit either. The manager apologized and offered to clear the women's bathroom, but he had already looked at the door and determined it was not wide enough either. Besides that, I don't think offering another genders bathroom would count as accessibility?
I know the OL has been around a long time and I assume there is some grandfathering of pre-accessibility guidelines, but at some point don't they have to come "up to code"? Is that only if they do renovations? How long can they remain un-accessible? I hope there is someone who can address this issue because we would like to be able to visit the OL again, but will not if he can't use the restroom while there.
Thank you for your help!

Please start having homeowners have to fix sidewalks. It's part of owning property. And that obligation has been neglected in many older areas. City needs to notify and provide guidance. Thank you.

Blocked road to the right due to construction. Out to the left is untenable travel for wheelchairs blocking my entire access to the Bloomington community violating the ADA with no safe way to access my needs and leaving me stranded at home until the project is completed. Am considering litigation
