I am not sure where to report this, but anything the City can do to stand with LGBT people during a time of ongoing hate would be appreciated. I was just looking through reports and saw the below, clearly indicating animus and negative stereotype toward the whole of queer people. I know hate will remain but I'd love to make sure the City's voice of tolerance and affirmation remains stronger. I appreciated the Mayor's remarks (and hopeful ongoing action) regarding the anti-Asian hate incident the other week. This is Rebekah Deckard responding to the email on people making it difficult for me to get in vehicles of those who come to pick me up to go places to not only being physically disabled but legally blind. I attempted to reply to the email on there being a parking pad cancaretakers (I have help besides caretakers. Ex: rides to church) not pick me up there. I am certain I stated how all park in the front to the house being on the corner intersecting with two roads it is on a slope/ hill. So the driveway is very difficult for me. When some have parked there (to my front entrance of sidewalk very close to it being blocked basically) the door of the passenger side I am in almost shuts on my leg. I am also 4'10" so this makes things more difficult to most do not have smaller lower sitting vehicles I can just step out of.. in fact sometimes I must use a step stool type device to get into the vehicle. As well as the steps to enter the back pose a risk of my falling. I request others not use the back entrance to the storm door is off balance so it does not close properly. Despite maintenance trying to remedy this. Again, I was certain I stated why I do not use the entrance with the driveway in my original contact. As stated already as well, I tried to reply to the email on thisbonnthe 22. It was returned to me.ni have had medical appointments the past two days so had no time to be online much. Sidewalk blocked 500 block of East Kirkwood
My husband is wheelchair bound and exercises during the day wheelchairing in our neighborhood. We have lived in Gentry Honours for 12 years. The sidewalks on our street-Coriander Court-have gotten progressively bumpier. My husband has fallen out of his chair three times with injuries. Strangers have helped him. Once an ambulance was called and he had to go to IU Health Emergency Room. The sidewalks in our neighborhood have been ground down to a more level path but not our street. I phoned the Street Department in May asking when South Coriander Ct could be scheduled for grinding and was told the grinding was completed in our neighborhood but they would review the job. My husband has also begun to wheelchair in the streets now, which is not safe either. Can you help us with grinding in our area? On our dead end cul de sac, I have taken 27 photos of the raised sidewalks. I am only including one here. Share your response with me when you are able. Best, Marianne Woodruff
We have a lot of problems with our building, including automatic doors not working, trash disposal problems and maintenance issues. There are dozens of light bulbs out on each floor. Pivotal, the company out of Ohio who bought the property last year, has had staffing issues that have caused numerous problems and bills not getting paid like trash removal and landscaping for mowing. The Fire Marshal found issues with the elevator and I have no idea if they have been corrected. Many of the residents have mobility problems and they need the front and back lobby doors working properly. This company is notorious with retaliatory evictions which I understand is illegal in Indiana. People are afraid to complain for this reason. Two property managers have walked off the job in the past 2 weeks and our maintenance guy is worthless. Please help us get these issues fixed asap! The trash issue is fast getting out of control. Hello There is new restaurant k bap. They change new owner,menu, sign, some equipment in kitchen. When I worked there, we got little fire,because they put new commercial oil flyer and some gas stove. They need inspection. Before there was bakery restaurant That was sandwich store. You need to check, there is hood or not on the oil flyer in the kitchen. and Sprinkler also. Thanks

There is a loose person hole cover on the sidewalk at 3rd and Madison, northeast corner,near the entrance to the pedestrian overpass in front of the empty building that used to house a motorcycle store.
