Temporary traffic sign on lawn for several days
Temporary traffic sign on lawn for several days
There has been a "road construction ahead" sign and this yard for probably 6 months or so and this is the yard of an older guy who likes to maintain his lawn and I think it bums him out to have this sing in his yard for so long with no actual road construction taking place. He keeps moving it to mow around it and then dragging it back and I feel bad for him.
The issue is the street sign at the corner of Matlock and Headley. Someone had knocked the street sign down, which used to only indicate Headley Road as you were turning onto it from Matlock. The sign was finally replaced indicating both Headley Road and Matlock Road only they put it indicating the wrong road for each. In other words, the Headley Road sign is pointed towards Matlock Road and the Matlock Road sign is pointed to Headley Road. It needs to be rotated 90 degrees.
Good Morning, There are two Downtown Bloomington signs located on the north and south end of the sidewalk between College Avenue and the Justice Building at 301 North College. Unfortunately, they have lost their luster, the anchoring points are looking suspect and they are impeding the maintenance teams ability to remove snow. I believe these signs are located in the COB right-of-way and assume that there is a formal process to request relocation elsewhere. Preferably down the street in either direction. Please let me know. Thank you, Richard Crider Fleet and Building Manager Monroe County Commissioners 100 W Kirkwood Ave Rm 322 Bloomington, IN 47404 812-803-6331
The warning lights on the new pedestrian crossing signal here do not work. I have crossed several times and pushed the button with no results.
When traveling west on 3rd St, the "No Turn On Red" sign at Smith Rd is mounted in a location were it cannot be seen when stopped at the intersection in the front position.
traffic light is out at 10th and Fee
Tree branches are across “Stop Here on Red” sign so cars go on to light & get “stuck” til cars accumulate behind & trigger the light change.
Traffic light at E 3rd Street and Kingston Drive is not working properly causing significant back-ups for Chick-fil-A and Target traffic. The left turn arrow for S. Kingston onto westbound E. 3rd Street only cycles long enough for three cars to make the turn. There were a dozen cars in line this morning to make the turn. Everyone then has to wait another two minutes (too long) for the light to cycle again.
Drivers are going too fast here and sometimes not seeing the stop signs, specifically going north on mitchell. I have witnessed two collisions and this calls for improved visibility of the stop sign or some other form of traffic calming. Many people, including kids, bike through this intersection and are vulnerable.
