Stop sign obscured by overgrown foliage.
Stop sign obscured by overgrown foliage.
Busy intersection with no pedestrian crossing signage or crossing lines on Pete Ellis Drive
For a major chunk, the new pedestrian sidewalks included in the road for the new hospital suddenly ends. Walkers living at the many apartments south on Pete Ellis Dr have to walk in the street as cars and trucks and ambulences drive fast, not looking for walkers in the road, zipping by on their way home to or from the hospital or cutting around to avoid ByPass problems. The sidewalk space must be IU property. They neglected to finish the walk that so many of us need.
Stolen street barriers in backyard. Also stolen signs in yard behind 520 to the west in along the alley.
Stolen signs, also in the backyard of 520 S Eagleson
The street sign box is covered in graffiti
It is incredibly confusing and potentially dangerous for a road to have multiple names. I just recently moved to Bloomington and think everyone can benefit from every road having only 1 name.
On Gourley pike trying to turn left or right onto Arlington, the tall vegetation blocks view of oncoming traffic. Very dangerous!! Please cut down grass/weeds.
Re: erection of street sign for (E) Hunters Glen Bloomington 47401 I live on this cul de sac with 6 homes, off Sare Rd. There is a large wooden sign at the corner of our cul de sac & Sare Rd but it is only visible when driving UP the hill— in daylight. At night, it is virtually invisible. Driving in opposite direction, DOWN the hill north/west toward college mall rd there is no way to know that this is a street and not, say, a driveway; the sign has writing only on one side. Is there any way to request that a proper city street sign be erected? I am happy to undertake the paperwork on behalf of my neighbors here in Hunters Glen. Our neighbors in Hyde Park, Hyde Park Village, Spicewood & Buttonwood all have individually crafted signs as a well as bloomington-issued street signs. Any guidance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Joanne Audretsch
One of the stop signs on east bound Moores Pike, at the SR 446 intersection, is down. It appears to have been struck by a vehicle.
