Speed limit sign on south side of street has been knocked down by careless driver
Speed limit sign on south side of street has been knocked down by careless driver
We desperately need a green arrow light at the intersection of Sale St and 46 in Ellettsville. During morning rush hour, N Sale St gets back up all the way down the entire street and only 2 cars at the most can turn left on 46 because oncoming traffic on S Sale street is back to back cars also trying to turn right onto 46 and these cars use BOTH lanes while turning right. The only way N Sale st cars can turn left is by literally WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO TURN RED, then they hurry onto 46 as best they can. It's becoming an extremely congested intersection during morning hours and I fear accidents are highly likely.
on the west side of the intersection at 4th/Walnut, cars are still using what should be the left turn lane as a straight, through lane. I'm guessing this is left over from the garage construction, but it's confusing to people and scary when you are on your bike properly using the through lane and someone who you think is going to turn left to go north on Walnut actually goes straight continuing on 4th street.
Stop sign & one-way sign knocked down at the corner of Fairfield & Holiday
Was walking on 5th and someone blow the stop sign going south on Bryan. I had a look and saw the stop sign is almost completely hidden by a tree. See the picture.
The street sign on top of the stop sign at Ridgeview and S. Walnut has fallen over, needs repaired.
The bicycle crossing button at Walnut and Allen on the south west corner is missing.
There are consistent problems of speeding along N Monroe St, especially between the middle school and Boys and Girls Club, where there is no speed limit sign posted. There is also concern someone could be hit at the intersection with 14th, as drivers will frequently go through the intersection without stopping.
Apparently there is a plan to make the parking spot in front of my house(1 of 2) a handicap spot for the Banneker? This is what I was told by my neighbor. The Banneker has two designated spots next to their building with adjoining ramps. I was curious as to why this additional spot was necessary? Staff and visitors attending Banneker already use a good amount of the parking around the facility. I have a driveway, so it's not an issue for me, it just seems unnecessary.
On the south east corner of E Allen St and S Washington St (E Allen St side) there is a metal sign post within the sidewalk that has been broken off at the base and it's a safety hazard.
