The large sweet gum tree in the right of way in front of our home has a very hefty branch that is growing directly toward our house and is very close to the front of the house and hangs down into my front garden. During large winds, the branch sways widely and is a danger to the sidewalk and our home. Can you trim the branch? Thank you!
A couple of trees fell in the woods that border my property in between 3897 S Claybridge anda the assisted living facility. The house is rented and I don’t know the owners. One of the trees is blocking the sidewalk. Yesterday, I witnessed a mom with a little kid on a trike going into the street to try to get around it with a vehicle having to swerve to not hit them. I am concerned because there are a lot of folks who use the sidewalk and a high level of traffic, which increases the odds of an accident.
One of the Bradford pear trees damaged in the storm has a large branch -- at base probably 8-9" in diameter-- broken off and caught up on other branches about 20' up. I think a good wind will bring it down probably at least partially on the sidewalk. It's the middle of three Bradford pears on the east side of S Fess between 703 and 701. Could be the whole tree needs to be taken down? Thanks!

A tree of about 8 inches DBH and located about a foot from the curb on S. Highland Ave. has a lot of poison ivy on it. The poison ivy extends about 2 feet over the street, so is a danger to pedestrians and cyclists (there is no sidewalk on either side of this block of Highland). Furthermore, the ivy has several large clusters of green, immature seeds (see both photos). It is therefore imperative that all of this ivy be removed or killed soon, before the seeds mature and are spread by birds. The tree and poison ivy are located across the street (Highland) from a bright blue house (this is at the corner at E. Wylie and Highland). Thanks for taking care of this. Jeff Palmer
There is a sugar maple that is mostly dead in this home's yard. It is a threat to the city bus stop, and school bus stop located on the NW corner of Dunstan & Allendale. Large limbs fall into the street and sidewalk regularly.
The maple tree on the south side of the property in the apron between Allendale Drive and the sidewalk is dead and should be removed. Thank you
I am a Certified Arborist through the I.S.A. While inspecting trees for Dr. John Labbon today at 2736 E. Brig's Bend I noticed that the city Maple tree to the right of the driveway entrance has co-dominant leaders. The 2 leads are already splitting and the smaller lead will fall onto the city sidewalk where a person walked by while I was doing the tree inspection. Dr. Labbon would like the tree removed. The street view is fully obstructed by weeds at the intersection of Euclid and 2nd street. When going South on Euclid and attempting to make a left hand turn (east) on 2nd, you cannot see oncoming traffic to your left due to vegetation between the sidewalk and the road. I have almost gotten in an accident twice at this intersection due to pulling out and jot seeing an oncoming car which was blocked by the weeds. This is especially a problem for cars versus trucks due to the height.
