It has been reported to me that Beach Tree Apartments, 1724 E. Hillside Dr only have one smoke detector per unit. Each unit is tri-level and should have multiple detectors. The one detector I saw myself was clearly very old and in need of replacement. (This report came into test on 03-07-2013. I inserted it into production on behalf of Scott. -alan)
The house next door to ours (currently vacant and for sale) has overgrown trees that are dead and falling down. Two cars have had either broken windows or mirrors, and all cars have sustained scratches from these trees. We are wondering what can be done to take the trees down. Damaged fire hydrant, 2nd and Grant
There are two large dead trees in front of 400 S. High Street. They have been dead for more than a year. They pose a fire hazard as well as a risk of injury and damage to property should they fall.
Someone is burning wood in an open fire behind the old red brick apartment building at 2nd & Henderson, around 9:15 this morning.
