There's a spotlight in front of the old folks home that shines into the road (east moores). the light faces east. it's very distracting/misleading driving towards it at night. I believe the light is supposed to illuminate a sign or tree.
The light stays green for the Tapp Road traffic, but the light stays red it's stuck, it won't change green for turning to get out on Tapp road. Cam be dangerous for people to have to go through that red light, there's a lot of traffic on Tapp road.
There is an incredibly bright flood light at the back entrance of the house (on N Jackson St) the stays on all night. It comes through the window shades and curtains of my bedroom window and all three of my neighbors homes as well. I’m not sure what the regulation is for nuisance lights on private property but it’d be great to have this light to be warmer in color or at least be motion sensored so we can get some rest in between. The homeowner is not open to hearing feedback from the neighbors so sadly, we have to report this way.
Why is north bound traffic on College crossing the 45/46 bypass such a short green light? Only three cars can make it through before it turns red. It causes really long waits during rush hour, IU move-in etc and encourages people to dangerously run red lights.
Strobing street light #123 on the b-line
The light moving north/south on Patterson turns red even when there is no one traveling east/west on Allen. And when it does turn red for north/south traffic on Patterson, it takes anywhere between 30 and 45 seconds to turn green again. This has been going on for several weeks now. Could the timing be checked?
Delight at old State Road 37 and State Road 37 stays red for the state Road 37 traffic even when no cars are coming from old State Road 37 for an extended period of time
Exterior light on the south of this house exceeds allowable Lux limits on neighboring property. This unshielded light interferes with bats roosting and foraging. There are bats that live on the neighboring property. Bats are a protected species and nocturnal light interference is not allowed. Please enforce the codes!
Light on south side of house is completely unshielded and causes glare and trespass on neighboring property. This nuisance light interferes with circadian rhythms of insects and pollinators. Garden produce is incompletely pollinated due to bright lights at night. Please enforce this.
