Nuisance Lights
W Kirkwood Ave & S Rogers St, Bloomington, IN 47404, USA

Left turn signal for traffic going west on Kirkwood at the intersection of W. Kirkwood and Rogers is triggering when there is no traffic turning left. East bound traffic must sit at the light and wait for the turn signal when it shouldn't be triggering because no cars are in the turn lane.

This unnecessary, gas station-style light seems far too tall and way too bright for this context of a residential neighborhood. It shines brightly into my second-story bedroom window (see photo) and wakes me during the night. No one living on this intersection wants it here. Bright outdoor light in the summer also disrupts firefly mating, causing their population to decline. Please remove it—or replace with a much shorter, *much dimmer*, insect-friendly, amber-lit lamp post, ideally also befitting a historic neighborhood. Thank you.

When a railroad car is on the tracks south of 10th Street the traffic light for west bound traffic of 10th Street will not cycle to green.

Heading east or west on 2nd street/bloominfield rd.
The intersection at Adams is really out of hand. East and west always has a red light which builds up traffic while adams north and south rarely has a single car pass.
In addition the light at patterson and 2nd heading east and west is always missed timed with the light at adams. When adams goes green heading east, patterson goes red.
Please please help or at least respond via email and give a reason as to why these are so poorly timed.

See #188316. Same issue with too-bright street lamp now at 12th/Washington. Please be mindful of property boundaries when it comes to illumination and not cast light on houses, etc. Also, with the bright lights up it makes it all the more convenient for dragsters to drive extremely fast down 12th Street at night. If the City's intention is ostensibly to make the street safer, why not install stop signs somewhere, such as at Lincoln and/or Grant? The frequency of vehicles that taking advantage of the lack of any speed controls (signs, etc.) and that drive 40-50mph down the street during the evenings, night, and early mornings is angering.
